Netherlands – Rwanda - Nepal General Overview of ICT course In 2017 our Team of Rwanda did the survey there in Rwanda on about the ICT there in some schools and out of schools where majority of the people are interested to learn on about the ICT skills , ultimately to empower the people for sustainable development by empowering them .

To empower those interested people , at first we started and committed to train OWC Team there in Rwanda on about the basic skills of computer courses .

Objectives : ďƒ˜

To make them familiar on about the computer parts (Hardware )and Software by which they could easily perform their daily activities by accessing various software and email / internet .

Create employment opportunity of unemployed disadvantaged youth through providing skill training on computer/ICT and provide access to ICT facility in the community to establish their social and economic empowerment.

Course : 

Introduction of Computer : In this chapter learner will learn on about the definition of computer as well as various parts of computer hardware and software .



Practice on Keyboard and Mouse : In this section learner will learn on about the Random alphabets of keyboard and how to type in a professional way , Numeric keys , functions key etc .

Along with they will learn on about the : Left and Right click .

(For the beginners it is very hard to type by keyboard as well as to do clicks )



Files and Folders : They will learn on about concept of Files and Folders . How to create Flies and Folders as well as how to store and manage those files and folders for future use .



Operating System : In this chapter , learner will learn on about the types of operating system . It is very important to know because Operating System controls all the parts(Hardware ) and software of computer .

Microsoft Office Package 





MS Office 2007 - In this chapter , learn will learn on about how to make a letter , Newsletter ,CV , charts , tables as well as well as add pictures . At the end they will learn how to save in appropriate file and folders for future use .

MS Excel 2007 : In this section ,learner will learn on how to record and analyze numerical data. They can easily make Invoice of their own business by using formulas as well as keep record of all the business etc.

Ms Power Point 2007 : In this section , learner will learn how to create impressive visual presentations by using various functions of power point .

Email / Internet In this section , learner will learn  On about the concept of Email and Internet as well as various types of social networking applications .  On how to create an account( on Gmail / Yahoo/ Facebook / Skype etc ) , how to manage those account with privacy settings.  On how to conduct online class , online presentations etc . 
