affected by the compounded national crises of Hurricane Dorian and Covid-19. I am so thankful that OEF existed and was positioned to serve, provide and protect the vulnerable when there was no other means for immediate intervention.

On our journey, success came through trial and error, victories and setbacks but we remained nimble, steadfast and focused on the mission and putting people first in our decision making. We saw problems as possibilities and deployed sustainable strategies to meet urgent demands while building the competence and infrastructure needed for future expansion. This was, and still remains, our modus operandi as we transition into “OEF 2.0” and perhaps our greatest evolutionary period to date.

OEF is poised and ready to activate the next phase. We will “level up” our foundational programs and synchronize our current projects under the umbrella of seven main objectives to advance the mission and multiply our local and national impact. These seven objectives are incorporated in our Strategic Plan and aligned with the infrastructure we have built to execute our programmatic goals and benefit those we serve. You can read more about this on pages 18-23.

Our organisation has undergone tremendous growth and transformation to arrive at this crucial point. Looking ahead there is so much to celebrate and rally behind. We are entering the era of our greatest contributions to both local and national development as we “connect the dots” and forge ahead with clarity and precision.

I wish to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to our Board of Directors and competent team who continue to move the needle and contribute their time, talent and expertise to this ambitious mission.

We hope that you share our collective enthusiasm for what is to come.

I invite you to read more about our visionary plans contained in this Annual Impact Report, and to visit our campus in Rock Sound for a one-of-a-kind experience and first-hand view of the incredible work underway. We hope that you will consider giving an Anniversary Gift of any amount to support our efforts and facilitate this important community development work. No gift is too small and all are welcome to take a seat at our table.

It remains an honor and privilege to serve you as OEF’s President and CEO.

In faithful service,
