Your evening begins with an Imperial Court Dinner—a curated banquet inspired by palace recipes—followed by the curtain rising for the performance. Typical pacing runs about 3 hours, with dinner around 18:00 and the show at 19:30, a seamless flow from feast to theatre. DAY 5 – FAREWELL TO XI’AN

Dusty well-digging in March 1974 cracked open one of humanity’s greatest secrets. As local farmers struck hardened clay, archaeologists rushed in, revealing rank upon rank of life-size soldiers guarding the buried mausoleum of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. Hailed as the most important archaeological discovery of modern times, the Terracotta Army rewrote our understanding of craftsmanship, military organisation and imperial ambition in a single, awe-inspiring stroke.
After the visit, enjoy a carefully curated lunch at Yushan Yuan, located within the historic Huangqi Palace complex. Later, you’ll be transferred to the airport, where you’ll begin your journey to Shanghai—a city of striking contrasts, where tradition meets cutting-edge modernity.
