MADE IN HOUSE Unlike other brands, Omnitau make garments in house, in the UK. This means better control, higher quality, and less risk of your favourite piece being out of stock in your size. We achieve this using an in house training programme, enabling us to upskill potential talent in production and manufacturing textiles, along with carefully selected partners to outsource preparation of certain processes for specific garment types. This enables us to work as efficiently as possible in house, maximising overall productivity.
ETHICALLY PREMIUM Omnitau takes its global responsibilities seriously. McKinsey & Co research shows that the global fashion industry creates more pollution than the UK, French, and German economies combined. By carrying out core processes close to the end user (in country, where possible), we are able to reduce potential CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to other brands. Setting up our own factories provides training and high quality employment opportunities in regional areas of the UK, with team members employed on full time, permanent contracts, at above UK living wage salaries and with generous holiday entitlements.
BETTER FOR THE PLANET As part of commitment to the future of earth, Omnitau use recycled materials wherever possible. Where for production reasons we’re restricted to using new materials (like cotton) we use organic fairwear certified cotton, so we can be sure it has been made with kindness to the planet, and the original producers have been paid a fair wage for their work. Omnitau also works to resolve the challenges in recycling used garments and pushing to develop practical long term solutions to eliminating clothing entering landfill.
ACCESSIBILITY Our mission is to show that a better way is possible for the fashion industry. Sustainability cannot be only for the priviledged, so we strive to make our prices as accessible as possible. We seek to offer an unrivalled lifetime value, making garments that can be worn again and again, year after year, so the initial investment is cheaper than having to constantly replace poorly made clothes which quickly degrade. This is better for your wallet and for the planet.
DYNAMIC As a new brand, we’re constantly expanding our repertoire. We currently offering comfy and soft leisurewear, technical performance kit, accessories to keep you organised and looking your best when on the move. Our team sports collection offers a tailor made proposition to further your on field achievements. We’re currently working on introducing yoga fits and expanding our technical range to include everything the modern gymgoer coudl imagine. We’re also finalising our inaugural golf products in time for the new season.
