Above and Beyond Service Award: Mayra Rivas

Keolis and OmniRide honored Mayra Rivas, Keolis’ operations manager, with the Above and Beyond service award at July’s Board meeting. Mayra was nominated for her hard work and dedication to stabilizing the operations of our system. In reponse to the challenges faced over the past few months, Mayra has made a noticeable difference in how we operate our service. Her focus on reliability and dependability allowed us to stabilize service in the spring by operating only what we knew we could. Customers have made note of this, and call volume has dropped tremendously because of her efforts. She also helped to minimize missed trips by reallocating manpower to cover open runs as many of our OmniRide family were celebrating Eid-Al-Adha. Thank you, Mayra, for ensuring we are providing safe and reliable service to our community.
