Designed in Wapda Town, Lahore, Pakistan a densely populated area with strict bye-laws of LDA (Lahore Development Authority), it was a challenge to create a house that exploits the idea of fluidity between interior and exterior spaces and its connection to nature.
This family who loves to use their outdoor space but wants maximum privacy from neighbours. This design solution is a courtyard-style house where the architecture provides the buffer from neighbouring properties and focuses the home around the clients most active space. The courtyard & skylights which are the heart of the house, to let the daylight, fresh air, and nature into those parts of the house that tend to be the darkest and helps to make connections between spaces and natural elements.
