My name is David Pinto Blanco but I am also known as Omega or Grim. I am an illustrator character designer, amateur story writer and a big fan of comics and manga. Something that stands out about me is that I am a very energetic and happy, I really enjoy creating new and various projects and working on new ideas and... How can it not be like that? If I have been drawing since I have memory. So... Let’s go! What are you waiting for? Here I will show you part of my works.
First of all I will explain where the image I use as signature and brand comes from. The first symbol is a fusion of the letter “D”, of my name David and the letter “O” from the Greek alphabet, Omega.
The second symbol comes from the first letter of my last name that is “P” of Pinto. This two images works as an “eyes” on a face.
Finally, the detail of the three lines between the eyes is a reference to a type of shadowing that is used in the manga, usually for dark, strange or thetric characters.
In this part I will show the works that i have been creating and developing since my beginnings, for this reason, for me, is one of the most important parts and of wich I feel
most proud of, I have not only created these characters, I have been upgradeing and perfecting them through the years.
A really big part of my work, and more since a few years ago, I do it with digital programs for drawing, here stands out Procreate.
All this characters takes part of the same universe of fantastic and action stories that I named as Mega.
These illustrations takes part of a group of demonic designs based on the 7 deadly sins.
And these are some designs of my own pantheon of gods, you can see both complete collections in @grim0_mega.
Inside of the character design I dedicate time to the creation of clothes too, this because of my enthusiasm for fashion design.
Finally, among the illustrations of my characters I also do comic stories (to which I have dedicated since I was 10 years old), with this, improving my skills as an illustrator over the time.
Among my jobs, there are not only works about my own characters, I also usually do what is known as “Fan Arts”, these are illustrations that uses characters from other artists, video games, series...
Besides my characteristic style of illustrations I usually vary, in certain occasions, in a cartoon or kids style for other types of drawings.
I also like to mix techniques physical and digital to make works with unique finishes, or to fix them and retouch them.
So far a summary of my work since I have many more illustrations and works than the drawn up throughout of the time. Its been many years developing this passion as a hobby to perfect my technique, I have developed studies as an illustrator and I continue working every day to be able to dedicate myself professionally to what I like the most. Primero os explicaré de dónde viene la imagen que uso como marca y firma. El primero de los símbolos proviene de una fusión de las letras “D”, de mi nombre David y “O” del alfabeto Griego, Omega.
El segundo símbolo proviene de la primera letra de mi apellido, la “P” de Pinto. Estas dos imágenes funcionan a modo de “ojos” en una cara.
Finalmente, el detalle de las tres líneas entre los ojos hace referencia a un tipo de sombreado usado en el manga, para personajes extraños o tétricos.
En esta sección muestro los trabajos que he creado y desarrollado desde un principio, por lo tanto para mi es una de las partes más importantes y de la que más orgulloso
me siento, no solo he creado y desarrollado estos personajes si no que los he ido perfeccionando a lo largo de los años.
Una gran parte de mi trabajo, y más desde hace unos años, lo realizo con programas digitales de dibujo, entre los cuales destaca Procreate.
Todos estos personajes pertenecen a un mismo universo de historias fantásticas y de acción a las que llamo Mega.
Estas ilustraciones forman parte de un grupo de diseños demoniacos basados en los 7 pecados capitales.

Dentro del diseño de personajes también me dedico a la creación de indumentarias, debido a mi entusiasmo por el diseño de moda.
Finalmente, entre las ilustraciones de mis personajes también realizo historias de cómic (a lo que me he dedicado desde los 10 años), mejorando así mis habilidades como ilustrador con el paso del tiempo.
Otro estilo con el que trabajo son los materiales físicos, tanto para hacer bocetos como ilustraciones acabadas.
Hasta aquí un resumen de parte de mi trabajo, ya que tengo muchas más ilustraciones y obras que he elaborado a lo largo del tiempo.
Son muchos los años que llevo desarrollando esta pasión como hobby para perfeccionar mi técnica, he desarrollado estudios como ilustrador y sigo trabajando cada día para poder dedicarme profesionalmente a lo que más me gusta. Muchas gracias por tu tiempo.
