Bettger’s father, Ron, co-founded House of Mufflers & Brakes in Omaha in 1970. When Bettger purchased his father’s stores in 2001, he recognized that services offered needed to expand beyond mufflers and brakes. As the stores added expertise in engine repair, electrical, steering, maintenance and more, Bettger noticed that the name was not a good fit for his business.

The new name, Omaha Car Care, is a perfect fit, says Bettger. “The new name not only better reflects the scope of work we do, it also speaks to who we are.
