Omaha Performing Arts leads the pack, bringing Broadway productions, jazz, blues, dance, comedy, and family shows to venues across the downtown area. Its landmark venues, Orpheum Theater and Holland Performing Arts Center, continually house world-class performances and events; Steelhouse Omaha will host more intimate shows beginning May 2023. Live, free music fills the summer air every year at outdoor venues. Catch Jazz on the Green every Thursday night at Turner Park, concerts at the Gene Leahy Mall amphitheater, and the City of Omaha Celebrates America concert at Memorial Park. Maha Festival continues to feature local and nationally-acclaimed artists over the two-day outdoor music festival. On a smaller scale, Omaha’s live music scene lights up all week long in bars, clubs, and pubs throughout the city, including at The Admiral, Sonny’s, and Parliament Pub.
