Astrobiologist Kevin Hand’s search for life beyond Earth takes him to extreme environments to explore how life can persist under hostile conditions. He has studied on the glaciers of Mount Kilimanjaro, the valleys of Antarctica and joined director James Cameron’s team on a dive into the Mariana Trench.
