Somalisa & Somalisa Acacia Nestled on either side of a stand of majestic Camelthorn trees, both Somalisa and Somalisa Acacia offer a unique Hwange experience. You are in tented accommodation and literally surrounded by animals. And yet, feel quite safe and even luxurious!

Both camps are small, Somalisa with six tents and Somalisa Acacia only has three double and one family tent. While Somalisa has bucket showers and Somalisa Acacia running water, both are quite luxurious and definitely one of Hwange‘s best offerings.

Tented luxury Built on slightly raised decks, rooms are simple, yet elegant, leaving you feel part of nature.

Elephants often drink from the bucket showers, but soon these will be changed to running water. Pity!

The main area has a charming old world feel, with a stunning swimming pool which the elephants enjoy as much as the guests!

Hwange game drives around the Somalisa, Ngweshla and Kennedy areas are diverse in wildlife and scenery - even in green season.
