On Paper invites audiences to rediscover the intimacy, tactility, and agility of paper as a medium. It is a chance to engage directly with the breadth of our artists’ practices, from the emerging voices shaping contemporary dialogue to the established figures who continue to push it forward.

Bringing together a dynamic collection of works from our stockroom, this exhibition offers a rarely seen repository of artistic energy and material exploration highlighting both editions and original works. From expressive drawings to bold etchings, these works celebrate the physical relationship between hand, tool, and surface.

Some artists embrace tradition, drawing from classical methods and historical techniques, while others push boundaries—layering media, disrupting form, and questioning the very nature of reproduction and originality in print.

On Paper is open in the Olsen Annexe from 30 July - 16 August.
