BLAIR HALL

Blair Hall is the men’s residence hall on campus offering mostly double and single occupancy rooms, common bathrooms, lounges and a computer lab.

DOLE HALL

RESIDENCE HALL

CO-ED; MEN & WOMEN FLOORS

Dole Hall is a co-ed residence hall featuring male and female-only floors. In addition to single, double and triple occupancy rooms and one quadruple occupancy room, the hall offers men’s and women’s common bathrooms, lounges and two computer labs.

SHIPHERD HALL

RESIDENCE HALL

CO-ED

Shipherd Hall is designed as a suite-style dorm, with four students sharing two bedrooms and a semi-private bath/shower facility. Shipherd is co-educational with common lounges, a computer lab and a recreational area. As part of The University’s furniture update, all residence halls are being updated to a fully, adjustable, bunkable bed. Beds in Shipherd Hall may not be loftable on their own. Contact the housing office for more information and a guide on lofts that can be built and are approved.

GILLETTE STUDENT VILLAGE

Gillette Student Village includes nine units with four single rooms in each. All units are fully furnished and have four bedrooms, two full baths and a basement. Amenities for each unit include a dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer and wireless internet access. Residents must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75.

LONG APARTMENTS

Long Apartments feature 10 units with a single and double room in each. Residents must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5. All units are fully furnished and have a full bathroom, living room and kitchen. Laundry is available on site for a small fee as well as wireless internet access.

OAK HILL APARTMENTS

APARTMENT CO-ED

Oak Hill Apartments feature 21 units with a single and double room in each and three units with double rooms. Residents must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5. All units are fully furnished and have a full bathroom, living room and kitchen. Laundry is available on site for a small fee as well as wireless internet access.

GReeKlife

11 Greek societies offer Greek society housing reserved for active members of the organizations. All houses are located on or near campus.

One theme house on Shipherd Street is reserved for students who strive for success in their academic coursework. Selection of residents is based on criteria such as cumulative grade point average, personal interviews, theme house specific requirements and other criteria determined by the Housing Office.

COMMUNITY LIVING OPTIONS are available in each of the residence halls for students who share similar interests. Students can learn more about these options by visiting the Housing Office in the Cutler Student Center.

• Coffee makers with heating element that shuts off after brewing

• Coffee pots with an open heating source

• Anything that has an exposed heating coil or does not automatically shut off

• Pets, with the exception of harmless fish in a tank smaller than 10 gallons

MEAL PLANS

CARTE BLANCHE - $6,147

Residential students living in Blair, Dole or Shipherd Hall are automatically enrolled in the Carte Blanche meal plan. This includes all 19 meals offered each week in the Kirk Center — or the KC as students call it — including breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. This plan also includes 10 guest meals to treat your family and friends when they visit and $125 in Comet Cash points each semester. Comet Cash Points and 10 guest meals reset each semester.

100 ON THE RUN - $2,271

A second meal plan, 100 on the Run, is reserved for commuting students and students qualified to live in campus apartments and theme and Greek houses. Students enjoy a meal plan that offers 100 meals each semester, averaging about five meals per week. Also included in the 100 on the Run meal plan is $200 in Comet Cash points per semester. Comet Cash points resets each semester.

MEAL EXCHANGE

In addition to the KC, Meal Exchange options are offered at the Starbucks Café in Mott Academic Center for breakfast and lunch and at Tu Taco in the Cutler Student Center. Simply swipe your student ID for a complete packaged meal, which will be deducted from your weekly meal allowance as if you were at the KC.
