LET’S DO SOMETHING TOGETHER. good
DEAR OLIVET Alumni, Family & Friends
On behalf of the Olivet Nazarene University Institutional Advancement Leadership Team, we have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of an Olivet education. The positive impact Olivet has had in our lives is immeasurable, shaping us in ways that will impact our lives and the lives of our families for generations.
The work being done at Olivet is vital. From our expansive academic curriculum to our commitment to nurturing Christian faith alongside knowledge, we are dedicated to empowering students to succeed and make a difference in the world.
Each time you give you are participating in these life-changing moments as well. You are not only giving to us but giving through us in a way to the address world’s greatest needs. For example, when you give you go with our alumni into concert halls, operating rooms, cancer-curing laboratories, small and large businesses, Fortune 500 C-Suites that employ thousands of people, STEM labs, courtrooms, local, state and federal governments, churches, non-profit organizations as well as thousands of K-12 classrooms and hundreds of hospitals across the globe. And just this last summer you traveled with our students, faculty and staff for life-giving work in England, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, Namibia, and the Blue Ridge Mountains, Tennessee, just to name a few.
We invite you to partner with us in this noble endeavor in a brand-new way during this season.
First, we ask you to consider placing Olivet in your top three giving priorities and to support our Strength and Hope Campaign. Your support is instrumental in ensuring that Olivet continues to be a beacon of hope and opportunity for generations to come. Let’s stand together and make a difference for the good of God and humanity.
Second, we are asking you to advocate for Olivet and use your influence to recruit new students, to encourage new donors, to raise the profile of Olivet in your church and community, to spread the good news of Olivet stories amongst your family and friends, and to intentionally leverage your relationships to help us build Olivet in this season. We need you and Olivet needs you!
As God continues to bless Olivet during these days, we pray His richest blessings on you, your family and church as well.
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19
Let’s do something good together!
With deep gratitude and optimism,

Susan Wolff
Associate Vice President, Institutional Advancement and Campaign Director

Now, more than ever,
we are convinced that Olivet’s mission to provide an Education With a Christian Purpose and Olivet’s particular brand of higher education — dedicated to loving God and loving students — is crucial cultural counterpoint. This optimistic, winsome, grace-and-truth approach to university life is not easy to find. Indeed, we believe that a strong and vibrant Olivet is not only critical for the betterment of our communities but also for the future of our world, country, churches, and families.

the student experience
ENHANCE THE OVERALL STUDENT LIFE AT OLIVET.
From enriching extracurricular activities and leadership development programs to mental health resources and global service opportunities, your support ensures our students have a well-rounded and fulfilling Olivet experience. Together, we can create an environment where students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Here are three highlighted student experience examples:
CHAPEL SPONSORSHIPS
Chapel at Olivet unfolds moments inspired by the Holy Spirit — centered in the Word of God with presentations by top Christian thought leaders. The campus community worships, prays and gathers regularly as a body of believers. You can strengthen chapel programming and enhance discipleship — informing faith, and all of life.
OPPORTUNITY: $2,000 PER SPONSORSHIP TOWARD A NEED OF $120,000
MISSIONS SPONSORSHIPS
One of the critical aspects of our higher purpose is challenging students to put faith into action by providing tangible opportunities to change the world around them. Through the Shalom Project, we seek to inspire, empower, and equip students to bring the Kingdom about through short-term ministry trips, student-led ministries, and community engagement. You can support a student who couldn’t otherwise participate.
OPPORTUNITY: GIVE TOWARD AN ANNUAL NEED OF $150,000
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
The Rick and Debbie Dykhouse Center for Academic Excellence believes that all students of all academic abilities need help transitioning to college, meeting rigorous academic standards, and succeeding in their respective majors. The Center provides support through academic coaching and tutoring, which strengthens students’ confidence and competence as they work toward their goals. You can encourage them in that pursuit.
OPPORTUNITY: GIVE TOWARD AN ANNUAL NEED OF $50,000

strength
for today and bright hope for tomorrow

“We are convinced ONU’s next bold step of faith is Strength & Hope: The Campaign for Olivet Nazarene University. Through the power and goodness of our Jehovah Jireh God, there is ample, supernatural ‘strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow’ to accomplish all that He has planned for us in the coming days.
I pray the Spirit will realize God-sized things at Olivet. How about you? My spirit resonates with the Old Testament prayer of Habakkuk 3:2, ‘LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known!’
Dr. Gregg Chenoweth, University President
