MESSAGE The Fil-Am Who’s Who is a unique community resource that spotlights the Filipino-Americans in the New York Tri-State area, whether in the government, academe, health care, education, food or fashion design sector.

I salute the staff behind the Fil-Am Who’s Who for their invaluable initiatives in honoring Filipino-Americans, sharing their real-life success stories, as well as organizing events showcasing the best of the Filipino in the greater community.

In line with their mission, Fil-Am Who’s Who is bringing a well–known Filipino designer, Renee Salud, whose fashion show TATAKSALUD NYC 2015 will not only feature Philippine indigenous fabrics and embroidery, but will also benefit the “Feed the Children Program” of Catbalogan II Elementary School in the province of Samar. I am thankful to them for this worthwhile endeavor.
