A Warm Welcome To All... On behalf of Rosmini College I am delighted to welcome all of you here today to the Waitemata Golf Club for our annual Golf tournament. The Golf tournament has been the major fundraiser for the College over the last six years and total funds raised since 2017 exceeds $270,000.00. I want to thank everyone who has supported the event over the years – those who have entered a team, sponsored a tee, donated a prize for the auction, raffle and those who have made donations. As always, the tournament promises to be an enjoyable day of Golf. We have a fabulous range of prizes and items for the auction which will take place later this evening. In addition to the prizes on offer for various categories the winning team will also receive the Rosmini College Golf Cup. Funds raised today will go towards further sporting facilities for our boys including basketball hoops, football goals and remediation work on the cricket outfield. Finally, I would like to thank our hosts the Waitemata Golf Club for providing this wonderful venue. I wish you all good luck and look forward to meeting you afterwards in the clubroom over dinner and a drink. HAPPY GOLFING!

RULES FOR ROSMINI COLLEGE GOLF TOURNAMENT FORMAT: A MBROSE Teams of 4.

The players then determines whose drive shall be taken.

Each player must have a minimum of 3 drives counted.
This process is continued until the ball is holed out.

Each player in a team tees off on each hole.
The selected ball is marked and all the players place and play the ball within 150mm of the marked position.

The gross score for the hole is recorded on the card (ie: there is only one score recorded for each hole). At the completion of the round, total up your team’s score, record it in the “Gross” box on the card and deduct your team handicap to record the net score. To work out the team handicap – add up everyone’s handicap and then divide by 8. If you only have three players on your team add up everyone’s handicap and then divide by 6. Auctioneer Paul Glover Paul Glover’s face is so familiar that you think you went to school with him. With over 30 years in the entertainment industry it’s more likely you’ve seen him on a stage somewhere, on a big screen, tv screen, or now on a little screen as he embraces his Real Estate career for Ray White Carpenter Reality. If you’re a fan of the international TV series Love It or List It you’ll also spot him as the co-host for the exciting New Zealand version coming to screens in 2024. This role perfectly blends Paul’s love of selling real estate, his career in television and more importantly love of people. Auctioneering is another string to Paul’s bow. Winner of the Apollo Rising Star Auctioneer Awards in 2022 his favourite type of auction to host is one for charity.
