CAMP A BED, DREAMS ARE MADE OF
With equal parts adventure and a fascination with Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetics, the founder of Oliver Furniture - designer and cabinetmaker Søren Rørbæk, has created a collection of furniture for little hearts with big dreams. Come aboard the Camp Collection, embracing knights from Timbuktu, magnificent princes, and princesses, and adventurers of forgotten worlds.
Central to the Camp Collection is the Camp canopy bed, which in its basic form is a day bed with what resembles a classic frame for a canopy, inviting all kinds of expressions, scenarios, and universes to unfold. The bed with the frame, beautifully crafted in oak with hidden screws and practical drawers underneath, can stand alone, but the construction truly shines with the canopies created for the bed. The bed with a canopy creates both a safe haven for the night and a platform for daydreaming and playing during the day.

The Camp bed canopy Sahara is created from a semi-transparent cotton fabric that allows light to filter in controlled amounts. Here we are near Morocco’s golden Atlas Mountains. Princes and princesses with hearts of gold and eyes like diamonds fly away on oriental carpets woven with threads that dreams are made of. A lone moth in the flicker of the oil lamp casts shadows on the tent fabric, which rises in a lofty tent construction held in place by a hook in the ceiling.

The Camp bed canopy Wild in thick, undyed canvas is perfect for the globetrotter exploring the Nordic wilderness or camping by a quiet lake surrounded by tall spruces and mountains, where the northern lights dance across the starry night sky. The fire roars in the dark night, and the backpack is packed with a canteen and leather-wrapped lunches, as one never knows what the journey may bring. Being a member of the Adventurers’ Club is not for children, but with small hidden gems, of course, equipped with binoculars, a compass and a map of the area, you can easily manage without mobile coverage and GPS. When closed, the heavy canvas creates the feeling of a tent where one can travel the world in a single night with a flashlight, stuffed animals, and tall tales.

When the sailors and adventurers have outgrown the Camp canopy bed, for example, it can easily be converted into a simple sofa bed with a low frame on the sides and back made of beautifully shaped oak dowels. Additionally, a bed snake in undyed, thick canvas, winding along the entire edge of the bed, can be purchased to create a soft, stylish, and embracing sofa environment.

The Wood baby rocker satisfies the baby’s need for movement - like in the womb - and accommodates the parent’s need for a few minutes, ‘hands-free’. The easy motion, powered by the baby’s movement and rhythm, has a calming and stimulating effect, making the baby rocker suitable as a base for entertainment and relaxation. When the sweet baby time is over, the baby cushion can be removed, and the baby rocker can transform into a beautiful toddler rocker for many years to come.
The Wood co-sleeper bears the need to be close and snug in the first months. The design accommodates the necessary sleep for both child and parents: by lowering the front side of the bed, it can be coupled to the parents’ bed. The Wood co-sleeper creates a safe base for the baby, with both sides up and functions as a cradle. With rubberised wheels, it can be wheeled from room to room. When the baby needs its own bed after the first 6-9 months, the Wood co-sleeper easily transforms into a fine little bench with its included attachment legs and open front piece.

WHEN EMILIE HAD A LITTLESISTER
GROWING WITH THE SIBLING KIT
When Mette and Rasmus were expecting little Emilie, they bought a Mini+ cot bed incl. junior kit. They didn’t quite know what this “incl. junior kit” meant, but as Emilie grew, it suddenly made perfect sense that the bed could grow with Emilie.
The cot bed became a junior bed, and it turned out that Emilie was soon to be a big sister. So Mette and Rasmus had to invest in another bed - or so they thought. But they quickly realised they could make two beds out of Emilie’s initial bed thanks to the Mini+ sibling kit. Emilie got her junior bed, and her little sister Emma got a cot bed made from all the parts they already had, combined with the sibling kit. This way, they didn’t have to buy a new bed, just a sibling kit and a mattress.

Crafted from solid oak, organic canvas, and airy cotton, each piece in the Camp Collection has a unique and refined look. The centrepiece, the Canopy bed, is customisable in style and functionality. By simply changing canopies and arranging other Camp furniture around it, the bed can adapt to different themes and aesthetics. When the children have outgrown the Camp canopy bed it can easily be converted into a simple day bed with a low frame on the sides and back made of beautifully shaped oak dowels.
When the sweet baby time is over, the soft baby cushion, which forms the upper part of the seat, can be removed and the baby rocker transforms into a beautiful toddler rocker for many years to come.

The choice of quality materials assures our mattresses’ natural breathability, optimal comfort, and long durability.
The mattress core is made of European HR cold foam, which is very comfortable, breathable, and hypoallergenic, easily recovers its shape after use and has a high carrying capacity. Volume weight 33-38 kg/m3. The cover is made of organic herringbone cotton, quilted with a layer of recycled polyester. The upper part has a waterproof layer of cotton laminated with TPU film (not applicable to mattress extensions). The removable two-piece cover is machine washable (max. 40°).
All our mattresses comply with standards EN 16890, EN 71-2 and BS 7177.
Our play mattresses are made of cold foam with a cotton cover. The removable cover is machine washable.

CONVERTIBLE BEDS
We value the sustainability of good furniture: in the materials, making and the overall lifespan. An Oliver Furniture piece has all the qualities one would expect from Danish design: classic aesthetics with sleek, elegant lines sturdy construction and is built to pass on to generations to come. It is important to us that our designs are easily adapted to the growth of your children or re-purposed for your family’s needs, putting less pressure on the environment and your wallet. We do not cater to trends but to families, and our key principle is that quality and good design will last forever.
Our sustainable design approach makes it possible to add and subtract elements to a piece of existing furniture and extend its lifetime in response to changing needs in the modern family: A few modifications to a bunk bed, and it becomes two single beds and a junior bed easily transforms into a day bed. All beds can be purchased individually or converted by purchasing a conversion kit to another bed within the same bed series.
