Over the last year, we have taken a solid step towards overall improvement in the Oliva Nova experience. Nace un sueño junto al Mediterráneo El recorrido inició su andadura en 1995, cuando Ballesteros dio forma a un campo de 9 hoyos que supuso una auténtica revolución para el turismo deportivo de la costa valenciana. El diseño inicial renunció al artificio: calles anchas, greens ondulados y múltiples obstáculos de agua, exigiendo tanto al amateur como al profesional.

Solo dos años después, en 1997, Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort inauguró su Casa Club y completó el trazado hasta alcanzar los 18 hoyos reglamentarios. Esta inversión posicionó al club para acoger torneos de ámbito nacional e internacional, atrayendo a nuevos socios y jugadores.
A finales de la década, el campo fue escenario de su primer circuito nacional, acercando a la instalación a la élite competitiva del golf español y reforzando su vocación como sede de grandes eventos.

El prestigioso Peugeot Tour recaló en Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort en 2004, consolidando internacionalmente al club. El compromiso social estuvo presente en 2005 con un torneo Pro Am destinado a recaudar fondos para las víctimas del tsunami asiático, y en 2010 con otro Pro Am en apoyo a Haití tras el devastador terremoto, demostrando el peso de la solidaridad en la identidad del club.
La renovación integral de los bunkers en 2014 marcó un punto de modernización en el recorrido. En 2015 —año simbólico— se inauguró la calle Severiano Ballesteros y se celebró el Campeonato Internacional de España Senior Masculino, convirtiéndose en escenario de los mejores jugadores veteranos del golf europeo.

En 2019, el campo fue sede de la gran final del Circuito Seve Ballesteros, un hito competitivo y emotivo en memoria de su diseñador. El compromiso con la igualdad quedó patente en 2020 con la celebración del Campeonato de España de Profesionales Femenino.
El campo de prácticas fue reformado en 2021. Apostando siempre por estar a la vanguardia, Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort incorporó en 2024 la tecnología Toptracer, integrando análisis de golpe en tiempo real y nuevas experiencias interactivas para jugadores de todos los niveles.

1995: A dream unfolds by the Mediterranean
1997: Double leap in quality Just two years later in 1997, Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort inaugurated its Clubhouse and completed the layout to reach the regulation 18 holes. This investment prepared the club to host nationwide and international tournaments, attracting new members and players. 1999: First national circuit At the end of the decade, the course hosted its first national circuit, making the facility more familiar to Spanish golf’s competitive elite and bolstering its intention to become a venue for major events. 2004–2010: Solidarity and great golf The prestigious Peugeot Tour was played at Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort in 2004, firmly establishing the club internationally. Its social commitment also became clear in 2005 with a Pro-Am tournament to raise funds for the victims of the Asian tsunami, and in 2010 with another Pro-Am in support of Haiti after its devastating earthquake, demonstrating the importance of solidarity in the club’s identity. 2014–2015: Modernisation and living history The complete overhaul of the bunkers in 2014 was a milestone in modernisation for the course. In the symbolic year of 2015, the Severiano Ballesteros fairway was inaugurated and the Spanish Senior Men’s International Championship was held, setting the stage for the best veteran players in European golf. 2019–2020: Grand finals and women’s golf In 2019, the course hosted the grand final of the Seve Ballesteros Circuit, a competitive, emotional milestone in memory of its designer. Our commitment to equality was also evident in 2020 when the Spanish Women’s Professional Championship was held. 2021–2024: Innovation and social impact The practice course was revamped in 2021. Forever striving to be at the forefront, Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort introduced Toptracer technology in 2024, including realtime stroke analyses and new interactive experiences for players of all levels. an pasado tres décadas desde que se inauguró el campo de golf de Oliva Nova, diseñado por Severiano Ballesteros. Su hermano Manuel, campeón del PGA European Tour y su entrenador durante su vida profesional, recuerda los inicios de aquel proyecto que marcó un punto de inflexión en el golf valenciano y en la carrera del campeón cántabro. «Recuerdo que conocí a toda la familia Borho, fundadora del proyecto, y tuvimos muchas conversaciones», comenta Manuel Ballesteros desde su residencia en Cantabria. «Sus hijos y los nuestros eran pequeños, y durante ese tiempo pasamos bastante tiempo juntos». A través de la empresa de su hermano y como accionista de la misma, Manuel comisariaba la evolución del campo, asegurándose de que el diseño respetara la filosofía de Seve: «Estuve varias veces en Oliva Nova y tengo un recuerdo muy bonito del mar cercano y de las instalaciones crecientes en aquel momento», explica. «A Seve le gustaba que los campos conservaran su aspecto más natural, evitando en la medida de lo posible los grandes movimientos de tierra. Algo que se pudo hacer gracias al terreno escogido y su carácter plano, en contraposición con otras localizaciones más complejas». Manuel destaca el equilibrio del recorrido: «Se trata de un campo variado y nada monótono. Tiene hoyos muy interesantes que pueden parecer sencillos, pero en la ejecución no lo son. Hace 30 años era un recorrido asequible y muy novedoso y ahora sigue siéndolo porque cada vez hay más jugadores y mejor preparados». El tiempo también ha cambiado el juego. «He jugado varias veces todo el recorrido y recuerdo cómo ha cambiado el golf desde entonces, cuando las maderas eran de verdad de ese material. Ahora son metálicas y pegan más lejos, aunque mantengan el mismo nombre», señala con una sonrisa nostálgica. Para finalizar, Manuel evoca una imagen imborrable: «Tengo grabada la visión de mi hermano jugando solo, disfrutando del campo y, a veces, haciendo hasta de caddie de sí mismo».

T
hree decades have gone by since the Oliva Nova golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros was opened. His brother Manuel, a PGA European Tour champion and his coach during his professional life, recalls the project’s beginnings, which marked a turning point in Valencian golf and in the Cantabrian champion’s career. “I remember getting to know the project’s entire founding family, the Borhos, and we had many conversations,” says Manuel Ballesteros from his residence in Cantabria. “Their children and ours were still small, and throughout that time we spent quite a lot of time together.” Through his brother’s company and as a shareholder in it, Manuel oversaw the evolution of the course, ensuring that the design respected Seve’s philosophy: “I was in Oliva Nova several times and I have very fond memories of the nearby sea and the growing facilities at that time,” he explains. “Seve liked golf courses to keep their natural look, avoiding shifting big earthworks as much as possible. This was made possible thanks to the terrain chosen and its flatness, in contrast to other more complex locations.” Manuel emphasises the balance of the course: “It’s a varied course, and not at all monotonous. There are very interesting holes that are deceptively simple, but not easy to play. Thirty years ago it was an achievable yet very innovative course, and it still is because there are more and more players, and they are better prepared.” Time has also changed the game. “I’ve played the entire course several times and I remember how golf has changed since then, when woods really were made of that material. Now they’re actually metal and hit further, even though they still have the same name,” he muses with a nostalgic smile. Finally, Manuel evokes an unforgettable image: “I have a vivid memory of my brother playing alone, enjoying the course, and sometimes even caddying for himself.”

Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort se consolida como uno de los referentes internacionales para la élite ciclista, acogiendo durante 2025 la concentración de equipos profesionales y amateurs de primer nivel, entre ellos los potentes Team Visma Lease a Bike, Polti Visit Malta y sumándose este año el también destacado Ineos Grenadiers. Tanto por localización como por servicios se ha convertido en destino habitual para la preparación y las etapas invernales de conjuntos llegados de toda Europa, gracias a un entorno privilegiado y a unas instalaciones diseñadas específicamente para satisfacer las máximas exigencias del deporte de alto rendimiento. En 2025, el resort acogió a equipos como el Team Visma Lease a Bike, Polti Visit Malta (profesional y junior), además de celebrar eventos cicloturistas como el TotalEnergies Gran Fondo Alberto Contador. Las fechas de estancia de estos conjuntos se distribuyen entre diciembre y enero, situando a Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort como epicentro europeo del ciclismo, cuando la meteorología permite aprovechar rutas de montaña y costa en un radio de 100 kilómetros. A esta lista de referencia internacional se suma el Ineos Grenadiers, confirmando la confianza que las grandes estructuras depositan en el complejo. La singularidad de una 10K única La V edición de la 10K Oliva Nova, celebrada el 2 de noviembre de 2025, consolidó su identidad como una de las carreras más singulares del calendario valenciano, reuniendo a atletas populares y figuras de clubes punteros de la Comunitat Valenciana en un entorno natural. El trazado, que atraviesa el corazón del Club de Golf, ofreció un recorrido técnico y estimulante que alternó calles anchas, greens, obstáculos de agua y tramos exigentes sobre césped, poniendo a prueba tanto la táctica como la resistencia de los participantes. Con salida a las 09:00 horas en la Avenida Oliva Nova, la carrera popular ofreció una experiencia única para corredores experimentados y debutantes, mientras que la carrera infantil, a las 10:30 horas, dotó de ambiente familiar y festivo a la jornada. El evento contó con una excelente organización logística, diversos avituallamientos y una meteorología excelente, lo que atrajo participantes de diferentes provincias dispuestos a disfrutar de una experiencia completa en Oliva Nova.

he 5th 10K Oliva Nova, held on 2nd November 2025, made a firm claim to be one of the most unique races on the Valencian calendar, bringing together popular athletes and leading figures from clubs in the Valencia region amid a natural environment. The route, which runs through the heart of the Golf Club, provided a skilful, stimulating race alternating between broad fairways, greens, water hazards and demanding sections on grass, testing both the tactics and the stamina of the participants. Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Avenida Oliva Nova, the race open to all gave a unique experience for both veteran runners and beginners, while the children’s race at 10:30 a.m. lent the day a festive family atmosphere. The event was able to count on excellent logistical organisation, various refreshment stations, and excellent weather, attracting participants from different provinces eager to enjoy a comprehensive experience at Oliva Nova.

The circuit allowed for a high pace and rivalry right up to the final metre, with a battle breaking out at the front and the dominance of the Vicky Foods Athletics club in the women’s category. The atmosphere, the public’s response, and the originality of running on grass made the 10K Oliva Nova unforgettable for many, suggesting even greater participation for future 10Ks. The option to combine the race registration with accommodation, and the “run your way” proposal all makes this race special for those who want a competitive challenge as well as those seeking a different sports experience, with the beach as a backdrop and the Mediterranean spirit in every stride. The support of international athlete Chema Martínez and collaboration from public institutions helped us exceed five hundred participants, showcasing the growth of one of the most special races in Spain. Joel Camarena, Jesús Olmos, Alicia Álvarez and Cristina Polanco were crowned winners in the race’s different categories, bolstering their leadership in facilities where they had already taken part in the Half Marathon and 5K held in May. The 10K Oliva Nova race winds through exceptional scenery amid the greens and fairways.

a construcción de una vivienda CHG es un proceso estructurado que abarca desde la fase inicial de planificación y estudio del terreno hasta la entrega llave en mano, priorizando en cada etapa la calidad, la eficiencia y la adaptación al entorno. Este método combina la experiencia técnica con materiales innovadores y un estricto control en la ejecución, logrando viviendas resistentes, confortables y sostenibles. PLANIFICACIÓN: EL PUNTO DE PARTIDA Todo comienza con un profundo análisis del terreno donde se va a ubicar la vivienda. El equipo técnico realiza estudios geotécnicos y topográficos para determinar la idoneidad del solar y personalizar el diseño según las necesidades del cliente y las características ambientales del entorno. Esta fase incluye la obtención de permisos, la redacción de los proyectos básicos y de ejecución, y la definición de soluciones constructivas específicas para cada caso.
EJECUCIÓN DE LA ESTRUCTURA Una vez completada la fase de planificación, se inicia la obra con la preparación y nivelación del terreno, seguida por la cimentación. Se utilizan hormigones de alta resistencia para asegurar la solidez y durabilidad de la estructura base. Sobre estos cimientos se levantan muros y forjados empleando ladrillos cerámicos, mortero especial y aislantes técnicos, reforzando el confort térmico y acústico de la vivienda. Todo el proceso se lleva a cabo bajo rigurosos controles de calidad y seguridad.
INSTALACIONES Y ACABADOS ESTRUCTURALES Con la estructura en pie, se acometen en paralelo las instalaciones de electricidad, fontanería, climatización y ventilación, utilizando materiales certificados y tecnologías modernas que garantizan eficiencia y confiabilidad. Las cubiertas y fachadas se diseñan mediante paneles específicos y revestimientos que proporcionan protección adicional y un acabado estético acorde al diseño. La eficiencia energética es prioritaria: tanto las ventanas y carpintería (en PVC o aluminio) como los sistemas de cierre se eligen por su capacidad aislante y su ahorro a largo plazo.
JARDÍN Y PISCINA Uno de los aspectos diferenciales de las viviendas es el hecho de disponer de jardín y piscina propios, merced a los más de 300 días de sol al año de los que disfruta la región y a la cada vez mayor tendencia a realizar actividades tanto laborales como personales al aire libre.

En el siguiente proceso se integra el jardín según el diseño planificado. En los proyectos siempre se sitúa en el espacio para complementar la entrada, que está enmarcada por formas diagonales, un plafón con trabes de acero y bajareque, y una puerta de madera natural. Se ha considerado el uso de canceles para delimitar el espacio si es necesario. Asimismo, el diseño tiene en consideración el mantenimiento del jardín a largo plazo, el cual puede ser bajo o moderado, según las plantas elegidas. También se pueden incorporar sistemas de iluminación tanto en el interior como en el exterior, lo cual puede ser controlado con un solo interruptor o de forma independiente. En el apartado de la piscina, siempre los primeros planos se habilitan según los deseos de cada cliente. A continuación se realiza el dimensionamiento y los cálculos estructurales y se elabora el proyecto de construcción. Una vez obtenida la licencia de obras, se procede a la excavación del terreno blando con una base con capa de machaca. A partir de ese momento, la armadura de acero inicia el proceso hacia un hormigonado con proyección a compresión, un enlucido interior con mortero de cemento y el revestido del vaso con mosaicos. La cenefa de azulejo decorado en la parte superior de las paredes facilita la limpieza y la conservación, mientras la instalación de redes de agua para depuración y renovación y la electricidad con cuadro de mandos automático y manual y el equipo de filtración y depuración permiten el funcionamiento óptimo del motor-bomba.

INTERIORISMO Y DETALLES FINALES El interior está completo con pavimentos cerámicos o de parquet, acabados de pintura y decoración personalizada. En esta etapa entra también la carpintería interior, la instalación de puertas y armarios, sanitario y mobiliario básico según el estándar de entrega de CHG. Cada una de estas partidas se revisa técnicamente para asegurar el cumplimiento de calidad y la funcionalidad integral de la vivienda.
SUPERVISIÓN CONTINUA Y ENTREGA A lo largo de todo el proceso, se realiza una supervisión exhaustiva, documentando cada fase mediante informes y fotografías. Antes de la entrega final, la vivienda pasa por un control técnico completo donde se comprueba que cada sistema (cerramientos, instalaciones, aislamientos, acabados) cumple con los altos estándares exigidos por CHG. Una vez superadas todas las revisiones, la casa se entrega completamente terminada y lista para ser habitada, acompañada de asesoría postventa y atención al cliente. How CHG homes are built
T
he construction of a CHG home is a well-structured procedure covering everything from the initial phase of planning and studying the terrain to turnkey delivery, with top priority given to quality, efficiency and adaptation to the environment in every phase. This method combines technical expertise with innovative materials and strict control over their implementation, resulting in strong, comfortable and sustainable residences. Not surprisingly, CHG was the first developer to obtain the ISO 9001 certificate, which stresses its obligation to comply with high standards throughout the entire process. Planning: the starting point It all begins with a meticulous analysis of the land where the house is to be located. The technical team carries out geotechnical and topographic studies to verify the site’s suitability and customise the design to the client’s needs and the environmental characteristics of the surroundings. This phase involves getting permits, drawing up basic projects and ones for the implementation, and defining the specific construction solutions for each case. Creating the structure Once the planning phase is finished, work begins on preparing and levelling the land, followed by the foundations. High-strength concretes are used to ensure the base structure’s solidity and durability. Walls and floors are built upon these foundations using ceramic bricks, special mortar and technical insulation, reinforcing the house’s comfort in terms of heating and soundproofing. The entire process is carried out following strict quality and safety controls. Structural installations and finishings With the structure in place, the electrical installations, plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation are installed at the same time, using certified materials and modern technology to ensure efficiency and reliability.
The roofing and facades are designed using specific panelling and cladding to provide additional protection and an aesthetic finish in keeping with the design. Energy efficiency is a priority: the windows, frames (in PVC or aluminium) and the closing systems are selected for their insulation properties and long-term savings. Garden and pool One of the residences’ distinguishing features is the fact that they have their own garden and swimming pool, perfect for the more than 300 days of sunshine a year the region enjoys and the ever-growing trend of doing both work and recreational activities in the open air. In the next procedure, the garden is added following the planned design. In the projects, it is always placed in such a way as to complement the entrance area, surrounded by slanting forms, steel blade fencing interlaced with cane, and a natural wooden door. The use of panel fencing to delimit the space is also considered if necessary. The design also takes into account the garden’s long-term maintenance, which can be low or moderate, depending on the plants chosen. Lighting systems can also be introduced both indoors and outdoors, which can be controlled with a single switch or else independently. In the pool section, the designs are always arranged according to each client’s wishes. Next, the dimensions and structural calculations are done, and the construction project is drawn up. Once the building permit has been obtained, excavation of the soft earth begins, with a base layer of crushed stone. From that moment on, the process of shotcreting concrete over the steel frame begins, then interior plastering with cement mortar, and lining the basin with mosaics. The decorative tile bordering high up on the walls helps with cleaning and maintenance, while the installation of water systems for purification and renewal, together with the electricity with its automatic and manual control panel and the filtration and purification apparatus all enable the motor pump to work optimally.
