Salvador Fuster Mestre Alcalde de Oliva | Oliva Mayor Como Alcalde de Oliva es de nuevo un honor y una satisfacción que se vuelva a confiar en Oliva para la celebración del MET 2015, que este año cumple su 4ª edición consecutiva en nuestra ciudad en las instalaciones del Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova.
As the Mayor of Oliva, it is an honour and a satisfaction for me that Oliva is trusted on once again to host the 2015 Mediterranean Equestrian Tour, which this year celebrates its 4th Edition in our town, at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Centre facilities.
Una competición que reúne a miles de visitantes y participantes que hacen de Oliva durante estas semanas el punto de refencia de la hípica de todo el continente europeo. Sin duda alguna, estoy convencido que en 2015 se superaran las expectativas de años anteriores.
During these weeks, this competition, which brings together thousands of visitors and participants, will make of Oliva a reference place for the equestrian sport throughout the European continent. Without any doubt, I am convinced that in 2015 the expectations will exceed those of previous years.

Presidente RFHE | President of RFHE Como Presidente de la Real Federación Hípica Española, es un honor para mí, dar la bienvenida a todos los jinetes y amazonas participantes en una nueva edición, ya la IV, del Mediterranean Equestrian Tour 2015.
As President of the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation, it is an honor for me to welcome all participants in this 4th edition of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour 2015.
Año a año el Comité Organizador del circuito se supera en esfuerzo y dedicación, estando previsto que en esta ocasión se llegue hasta las 8 semanas de competición, lo que contribuirá de especial manera a que España, en el inicio de la temporada, sea el referente mundial de la disciplina de Salto.
Each year the Organizing Committee of MET exceeds effort and dedication, it is foreseen that this time it reaches eight weeks of competition, making Spain, at the start of the season, the referent of the Jumping discipline worldwide.

Presidente FHCV | President of FHCV Para mí como Presidente de la Federación Hípica de la Comunidad Valenciana, es un gran orgullo que el Mediterranean Equestrian Tour sea ya un fijo en el calendario internacional de Salto de Obstáculos. Soy consciente de que muchos jinetes, representando un gran número de países han elegido el MET como competición para iniciar la temporada, lo que sin duda va a contribuir al éxito de nuestro deporte en la Comunidad Valenciana. Agradezco a las entidades colaboradoras del MET, a los patrocinadores y muy especialmente al Ayuntamiento de Oliva, el apoyo que año tras año dan a este gran evento, que este año afronta ya su cuarta edición. Animo a los responsables del Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova que han elegido nuestra Comunidad para alojar una competición tan importante a que continúen evolucionando con tanto éxito. Deseo a los participantes el mayor éxito deportivo.
For me as President of the Equestrian Federation of Comunidad Valenciana, it is a great honor that the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour is already a fixed date on the Show Jumping international calendar. I am aware that many riders, representing a large number of countries have chosen the MET as competition to start the season, which will certainly contribute to the success of our sport in the Comunidad Valenciana. CÓDIGO DE CONDUCTA
PROTECCIÓN AL CABALLO
La Federación Ecuestre Internacional (FEI) espera que todos aquellos involucrados en el deporte ecuestre internacional se adhieran al presente Código de Conducta, admitan y acepten que en todo momento la protección del caballo debe ser extrema y nunca subordinarse a influencias comerciales o de competición. 1
En todas las etapas de preparación, entrenamiento y competición la protección del caballo debe tener preferencia ante otras exigencias. Esto incluye buen manejo del caballo, métodos de entrenamiento, herraje, arneses y transporte.

Caballos y jinetes deberán estar capacitados, aptos y con buena saludo antes de ser autorizados a competir. Esto incluye uso de medicamentos, procedimientos quirúrgicos que amenacen su bienestar o seguridad, embarazo en yeguas y la omisión de asistencia.

Las competiciones no deber perjudicar el bienestar del caballo. Esto incluye dedicar una especial atención y cuidados a las zonas de competición, suelos de las pistas, condiciones climáticas, cuadras, emplazamiento, seguridad y salud del caballo para el viaje después de la competición.

Debe hacerse todo tipo de esfuerzo para asegurar que los caballos reciben la atención apropiada después de haber competido y que son humanamente tratados cuando su vida deportiva finalice. Esto incluye cuidado veterinario adecuado, lesiones de competición, eutanasia y retiro.

La FEI insta a todas las personas y organismos involucrados con el deporte a alcanzar el más alto nivel de formación en todas sus áreas de competencia.

CODE OF CONDUCT
WELFARE OF THE HORSE
The FÊdÊration Equestre Internationale (FEI) expects all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI’s Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences. 1
At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery nd tack, and transportation.

Horses and competitors must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids.

Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site, safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event.

Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention afer they have competed and that they are treated humanely when their competition careers are over. This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries, euthanasia and retirement.

The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise.

INSTALACIONES CENTRO ECUESTRE Las instalaciones del Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova fueron construidas en el último trimestre de 2011. La primera competición comenzó en Febrero de 2012. Este año albergamos la cuarta edición del MET con ocho semanas de competición en invierno y cuatro en Otoño. Actualmente contamos con 38.000 m2 de pistas de arena “Damman”, entre las que destacan la Pista Valencia (100 m x 80 m) y la Pista Oliva (90m x 60m), el resto se utilizan como pista comercial y de entrenamiento. Asimismo el complejo cuenta con una magnífica pista de hierba, la pista Oliva Nova, con una superficie de 120m x 80m. Las instalaciones tienen una capacidad para albergar 950 caballos al mismo tiempo. Gran almacén de obstáculos, almacén de alimentos, parking para 160 camiones, duchas, pista para dar cuerda, estercoleros. El moderno diseño de nuestras instalaciones garantiza funcionalidad y comodidad para público y participantes. 20 MET2015
EQUESTRIAN CENTER FACILITIES Oliva Nova Equestrian Center facility was built in the last quarter of 2011. The first event started in February 2012. This year we face the fourth edition of MET with 8 weeks of competition in winter and 4 weeks in Autumn. We currently have 38,000 m2 of “Damman” sand arenas, among which Valencia (100 mx 80 m) and Oliva (90m x 60m) stand out as the competition arenas, the rest are used as “clear round” and training arenas. The complex also has a superb grass arena, Oliva Nova arena, with an area of 120m x 80m. The facility has a capacity to accommodate 950 horses at the same time. Two big warehouses one for obstacles and the other for horse bedding and feeding, parking for 160 trucks (with individual electricity and water connections), showers, lunging arena and manure heaps. The modern design of facilities ensures functionality and comfort for visitors and participants. MET2015 21

CSI YH 9 caballos por jinete, 3 caballos por edad. Calificación para participar en las Finales: haber participado, al menos en dos pruebas por Tour.
CSI 1* BRONZE TOUR 4 caballos por jinete, 2 caballos por prueba, solo 1 caballo en el GP de los domingos.
SILVER TOUR 4 caballos por jinete, 1 caballo por prueba. Se admite la participación de 3 caballos en Bronze y 1 en Silver.
CSI 2*/3* GOLD TOUR 4 caballos por jinete, 1 caballo por prueba. Los jinetes de Gold Tour pueden participar con 2 caballos más en Silver. Los jinetes de Gold Tour no pueden participar en Bronze.

CSI 2*/3*Â GOLD TOUR 4 Horses per rider, 1 horse per class. Gold Tour riders can start 2 additional horses in Silver. Gold Tour riders cannot start in Bronze
PARTICIPATION RESTRICTIONS BRONZE TOUR Only open to riders who have never competed in Nations Cup (as Junior, Young Riders or Seniors).
SILVER TOUR Riders can compete in Silver Tour with 4 horses, with two per class, except in GP classes, where it is limited to 1 horse per rider.
GOLD TOUR Riders can compete in Gold Tour with 4 horses, with only one per class. Riders competing in Gold Tour can also start with two horses in Silver Tour. MET2015 25

Las competiciones del MET 2014 se agruparon en tres Tour. MET1 dos semanas en enero, MET2 tres semanas en Febrero y MET3 tres semanas en Marzo. Durante el MET 2014 en total de los tres Tour –ocho semanas- saltaron en Oliva Nova un total de 1800 caballos y una cantidad cercana a los 10000 asistentes se dieron cita en las instalaciones ecuestres. En cuanto a los jinetes, unos 481 jinetes y amazonas representaron a 50 países.

La climatología, la calidad de las instalaciones y el altísimo nivel de los recorridos fueron los factores más importantes para el éxito del Mediterranean Equestrian Tour 2014. 2014 MET
MET 2014 competitions were grouped into three Tours. MET1 two weeks in January, MET2 three weeks in February and MET3 three weeks in March. During MET 2014, a total of 1800 horses jumped on the eight weeks, and nearly up to 15,000 visitors came to Oliva Nova equestrian facilities. And 481 riders, representing 50 countries, took part at our competitions. The weather, the quality of the facilities and the high level of the courses were the most important facts of success for MET 2014. Un programa de tres semanas de Concursos Internacionales de Salto 2* y Caballos Jóvenes ha sido la apuesta del Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova para el pasado Otoño. A lo largo de 20 días han pasado por las instalaciones de Oliva unos 800 caballos. Un total de hasta 33 países han estado representados, entre los que se encuentran: Alemania, Arabia Saudí, Austria, Azerbaiyán, Bélgica, Colombia, Dinamarca, Ecuador, El Salvador, Eslovenia, Francia, Gran Bretaña, Grecia, Holanda, Irlanda, Israel, Italia, Kazajstán, Luxemburgo, Noruega, Nueva Zelanda, Polonia, Portugal, Rusia, Sudafrica , Suecia, Suiza, Taiwan, Turquía, Ucrania, USA y Venezuela, España, que contó con la participación más numerosa.

A three-week program of CSI2* and Young Horses has been held in Oliva Nova Equestrian Center last autumn. About 800 horses have been competing during Autumn MET in Oliva Nova over 20 days. A total of up to 33 countries were represented, among which are: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Israel Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Venezuela and Spain, which had the largest number of riders.

El CSI 2* tuvo ocho niveles, cuatro en Bronze y cuatro en Gold, donde pudieron competir desde jinetes amateurs hasta los profesionales de más prestigio. El programa del CSIYH incluyó pruebas para caballos de 5, 6 y 7 años.
The CSI 2 * had eight levels, four in Bronze Tour and four in Gold Tour, where all riders could compete: from the amateurs to the most prestigious professionals. The program included also CSIYH classes for 5, 6 and 7 year old horses.

I CONCURSO DE DOMA INTERNACIONAL 24, 25 y 26 Abril
El 1er Concurso de Doma Internacional tendrá lugar en nuestras instalaciones durante los días 24 a 26 de Abril. Esperamos para entonces la asistencia y participación de los mejores jinetes de Doma del momento, tanto españoles como de otros países. La Doma Clásica en España ha sido la disciplina más laureada en los últimos años en Juegos Olímpicos, Campeonatos del Mundo y de Europa.
El programa del CDI 3* - YH – Ch J YR va a incluir no sólo pruebas de los niveles más altos internacionales - San Jorge a Gran Premio -, sino también para caballos jóvenes y jinetes menores. Para el Jurado contamos ya con Jueces Internacionales de primer nivel. Por España están nombrados Francisco Guerra, Mariano Santos, Rosa Gª Mauriño y Juan Carlos Campos, Peter Holler por Alemania y Victoire Mandl por Austria.

The 1st International Dressage Competition will take place at our facilities during 24 to 26 April. We expect by then the assistance and participation of the best riders in Dressage of the time, both Spanish and other countries. The program CDI 3 * - YH Ch J YR will include not only tests of international higher levels - St Georges to Grand Prix - but also for Young Horses and Children, Juniors and Young Riders. For the Jury we have appointed International level Judges as Francisco Guerra, Mariano Santos, Rosa GÂŞ MauriĂąo and Juan Carlos Campos from Spain, Peter Holler from Germany and Victoire Mandl from Austria.

Campo de Golf Diseñado y construido por Severiano Ballesteros, ocupa unas 50 has., que son las que conforman la superficie del campo del Club de Golf Oliva Nova. Es un links, par 72 de 6.312 m y un slope de 129, cuya principal característica es que en 15 de sus hoyos entra en juego el agua. Sólo se ven libres de este elemento los hoyos 2, 13 y 14. Campo técnico, con suaves ondulaciones del terreno, fácil de andar, compuesto por la fórmula tradicional de cuatro pares 3, cuatro pares 5 y diez pares 4 donde se premian los buenos golpes y se castigan aquellos que no lo son. Hasta la fecha ha sido escenario de importantes competiciones oficiales tanto nacionales como internacionales.
Golf Course Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, the Oliva Nova Golf Club course occupies around 50 hectares. It is a par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120, the main characteristic of which is that 15 of its 18 holes include water obstacles. The only holes that have no water obstacles are numbers 2, 13 and 14.. A technical course, with a gentle undulating terrain, easy to walk on, formed by the traditional four pars 3, four pars 5 and ten pars 4 formula where the good shots are rewarded and the bad ones are punished. To date, the course has hosted various important Spanish and international competitions.

El amen corner del campo está fijado en los hoyos 13, 14 y 15, donde la estrategia y el viento son determinantes.

He loves his profession proven in each of his designs and outfits in which all his love, devotion and dedication is reflected. His brand is defined breaking classic schemes keeping the iconic fashion Lady sophisticated style that distinguishes him. Under its new AF firm, born in 2013, an elegant, innovative, sensual and very chic brand, immerses customers in his parades and showrooms with great momentum, offering fresh collections differing from other designers. His wonderful project started by the result of his interest in fashion, his vocation towards this sector, creativity from an early age and his desire to dress a woman under his style and personality.

Dicha unión de talentos surgió de la escuela de arte y diseño superior EASD de Alcoy, la cual se sirvió para realizar en exclusiva el estilismo y confección de los total-look de las azafatas de Oliva Nova (MET) Mediterranean Equestrian Tour 2015. Un ambicioso proyecto al cual se han dedicado con gran ilusión. Ambos diseñadores se dieron a conocer en la zona, tras ganar un premio especial en la primera gala de premios al talento Gandía trend exposure organizada por Reneé Vila, Directora y Community manager de la agencia de modelos Goddess. Estos tuvieron la gran oportunidad gracias a este premio, de poder mostrar sus prendas en la pasarela de la pasada Berlín Fashion Week 2014. Tanto Aarón Fernández, como Rebeca Corec, son grandes diseñadores emergentes con numerosas expectativas cara al futuro. Gracias a su esfuerzo diario, sus firmas pisan fuerte y poco a poco se abren camino en este gran y complicado sector.

Las dunas son la principal defensa de nuestras playas, un sistema vivo en constante movimiento, de gran belleza y fragilidad. El Ayuntamiento de Oliva, consciente de su singularidad, ha implantado el Sistema de Gestión Medioambiental UNE EN ISO 14001:1996, con el fin de divulgar la importancia del ecosistema dunar y fomentar su respeto. La salvaguarda de los cordones dunares, es la mejor garantía de preservación del equilibrio dinámico de las playas, y de su indudable valor paisajístico. La gastronomía de Oliva se caracteriza por el uso de ingredientes típicamente mediterráneos que aportan una dieta sana y equilibrada. Así, entre las recetas más tradicionales destacan las conocidas como Coques a la Calfó, una pasta fina elaborada con harina de trigo y maíz que se puede acompañar de diferentes productos, o los Figatells, una mezcla de carne de cerdo con especias amasado en forma de bola que se acompaña de mostaza. El mar y la agricultura aportan una exquisita combinación en platos como las gambas con acelga, también destaca en el menú de Oliva los pimientos rellenos, Pebreres farcides un plato con sabor a la cocina tradicional. Anualmente se celebra una muestra gastronómica con un concurso profesional de Pimientos rellenos, “Pebrera d’Or”. The dunes are the main defense of our beaches, a living system in constant motion, of great beauty and fragility. The City Council of Oliva, aware of its singularity, has implemented the Environmental Management System ISO 14001: 1996, in order to spread the importance of dune ecosystem and promote its respect. Safeguarding the dune ridges, is the best guarantee of preservation of dynamic balance of the beaches, and its unquestionable natural beauty. Oliva’s cuisine is characterized by the use of typically Mediterranean ingredients that provide a healthy and balanced diet. Thus, among traditional recipes include those known as “Coques a la Calfó”, a thin pasta made with wheat flour and corn that can accompany different products as “Figatells”, a mixture of pork with spices kneaded and shaped into ball accompanying mustard.
