Established more than 25 years ago, on the Oliva Nova course you can enjoy sport in the heart of nature. The 18 holes, designed by the famous Seve Ballesteros and opened in 1995, cover an area of approximately 50 hectares, with wide fairways, gently undulating greens and water hazards. The invisible presence of the sea is apparent in the breeze, which sets the playing strategy. The choice of club and how each hole is played may vary from day to day.

It is a long course (6,312 metres/6,903 yards), but very comfortable to play, making it one of the favourite courses of professional sportspeople and golf enthusiasts.

Although the tee shots are not hugely difficult, the course is very versatile and can become complicated depending on the tournament being hosted at any given time.

With an average of more than 45,000 tee times per year, Oliva Nova Golf Club has regular players who reside in the area, players

from all over Spain and occasional players from all over the world, notably including golfers from the United Kingdom, Germany and Scandinavia.

Another important reason to consider Oliva Nova the best golf destination is its proximity to other golf courses such as La Sella, La Galiana, Villaitana, etc., with which the Club has an arrangement.

“Seve’s Revenge”

The par 3 6th hole is one of the most iconic holes on the course. Known in the world of golf as “la venganza de Seve”, no amateur sets foot on Oliva Nova is unaware of the challenge posed by its 190 metres from tee to flag, with a high green and various challenges, which is fiercely defended by a front water hazard, a bunker on the left and slopes on the other side and behind.

Clubhouse

Many of the regular players are Club members and subscribers, and they have even created various societies which bring them together weekly to play their championships and enjoy a delicious meal at the Clubhouse to round off a magical day of golf among friends.

Its spacious and well-maintained facilities allow players to enjoy all the services they need, both before and after their round.

On the ground floor, golfers will find all the golf equipment they need in the Pro-Shop, as well as the changing rooms, the club room and the buggy parking area.

On the upper floor are The Golf Club restaurant and the social lounge. From there, you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the course, in which the tees on holes 1, 8 and 10, and the greens of holes 7, 9 and 18 feature prominently.

The Oliva Nova Academy is the perfect choice for those who want to improve their technique or simply to get started in the game with the best. The instructors at the Oliva Nova Academy are highly experienced, continuously-trained and speak various languages. You can enjoy bespoke classes or group courses adapted to your level, objectives and needs, in which the pros try to get each player to perform to the best.

Driving range

In the Oliva Nova Golf Club practice area, you will be able to apply everything you have learnt at the Academy.

25 mats on the driving range and the option for 40 players with their Pro to practise on a grass teeing area.

A course with 5 par 3 holes, each between 50 (55 yards) and 90 metres (98 yards), which is ideal for improving pitching and putting.

Toptracer

Oliva Nova features 16 practice bays equipped with Toptracer technology. Cameras track the first 50 meters of the ball’s flight and calculate the rest of the trajectory using algorithms, offering fast and precise analysis. This technology allows players to virtually

enjoy legendary courses such as St. Andrews, precisely measure the distance achieved with each club, and save data from all their sessions. It’s valuable information that helps track, improve, and personalize every training session.
