Enhance your holistic approach to Sports Medicine alongside a team of experienced, licensed, scholar-practitioners with connections to Ole Miss Athletics, area high schools, professional sports teams, clinics, hospitals, physician’s offices, and industry. Engage in hands-on clinical training with leaders in the field of athletic training. Prepare for a career as a Certified Athletic Trainer and collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
Why Athletic Training at Ole Miss? Our program is one of only a handful of schools in the South that offers the master’s degree needed for this career path. To become an Certified Athletic Trainer, you must graduate with a degree in Athletic Training from an accredited athletic training program and successfully pass the Board of Certification (BOC) exam.
