ROOM TO GROW With over 125 years of Cheyenne Frontier Days™ celebrations and years of Cheyenne history, we are busting the seams of our current facility. With the expansion complete, we will have space for exhibits, storage, and dynamic arts and culture programs and be able to meet accreditation, preservation, and exhibition goals.
S T E WA R D I N G O U R C O L L E C T I O N S Built in 1948 as a Cheyenne community pavilion and later adapted into our Museum, our building features no climate or humidity control, and no professional collections storage area. The expansion will help us preserve and protect our precious artifacts in an appropriate, climatecontrolled environment. We have reached capacity, which affects long-term sustainability.
Y E A R - R O U N D T O U R I S T D R AW To expand and enhance the experience, we aim to showcase our beautiful collection of carriages and the rich history found in our galleries. We cultivate and present a fine Western art collection to tell the story of the largest outdoor Western celebration, and plan to modernize interactive family experiences all year long.
KEEPING UP WITH THE TIMES Digital art, music and film, layered technologies, augmented reality, and full immersive experiences will entice visitors of all ages from around the world to experience the West as it is re-imagined year after year during the last 10 days of July and beyond.
FINANCIAL GOALS Our goal is to raise funds for new construction, renovations, and a future operations endowment.

EXTENDING OUR GALLERIES
It’s fascinating to reflect on how much impact determined people can have on the world through their visions and actions. Unwavering visionaries forged this distinct culture with strong values and a steadfast code of honor. As an extension of our galleries, our Art Walk will honor trials, tribulations, and triumphs of the characters & facets that shaped our American West. Western history is a human story, and we want to present the finest account of this legacy with all of its wonderful aspects through beautiful, meaningful, and engaging mediums. Our vision is to extend the current bronze sculptures we steward, welcoming all to Frontier Park. These bronzes will forever depict the great story of the American Western legacy.

An art walk with all the historical characters enables this fascinating and distinct story to come to life and be appreciated and accessable for generations.
