Local Rules: USGA Rules govern all play plus the following local rules:
Preferred Lies – Lift, clean, and place your ball in your own fairway within one club length
The local rule (E-5) for a lost ball, or a ball that it out of bounds, is in NOT in effect - please play a provisional ball.
The local rule (F-5) is in effect for nearest point of relief, without a penalty, for a ball that lies within 2 club lengths of an immovable obstruction (irrigation box or head etc.) and that the obstruction is within 2 club lengths of the green.
The local rule for hole #17 has been modified and there is no longer free relief from the cart path if your ball lies on the cart path that is now in the red penalty area.
Yardage measuring devices are allowed as long as they do not calculate elevation changes – Rule 4.3.
Sand and dirt paths are not considered abnormal ground conditions; therefore, no relief is granted – Model Local Rule F-6.
Anywhere in the “general area”, a ball embedded in its own pitch-mark in the ground, except in loose sand and waste areas, may be lifted without penalty, cleaned, and dropped as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole – Rule 16.3a and Rule 16.3b.
All gravel lined paths are considered abnormal course conditions. Nearest point of relief is available – Rule 16.1a
A ball that lies in a horse’s hoof print is considered to be an abnormal course condition. Please take nearest point of relief - Rule 16.1a and Model Local Rule F-10.
Ball drop zones are located near the forward tees on all of the par 3’s and also on hole # 15 for the yellow penalty area in front of the green –Model Local Rule 8E.
