NEW HIRES! Join us in welcoming Karishma Dawood, our new Brokerage Transaction Coordinator in Houston. We have also hired Lindsey Fadde for our new position as Lifestyle Coordinator at Greens Prairie Reserve. Lindsey will continue in her current role within Hospitality in addition to her new duties. Development has also hired Allyson Malin as our new Development Marketing Coordinator. Last, but not least, OG Hospitality has hired Ryleigh Parr as a Marketing Intern. Ryleigh is currently a student in the new Hospitality, Hotel Management, and Tourism program through Texas A&M. Welcome to OG everyone!

Kristen Hagan completed her Certification in Hospitality Analytics (CHIA) via Smith Travel Research to gain further knowledge on dissecting/analyzing information within our weekly and monthly STR reports.

OG Hospitality successfully completed the sale transaction of the Fairfield Inn & Suites property in New Braunfels, Texas in late February.

We are beginning initial discussions to complete a scope of work for renovations on Hyatt Place College Station, Courtyard New Braunfels River Village, and Best Western Plus College Station.

We anticipate work commencing on all three projects before the end of the 2024 year.

Kristen Hagan was invited to represent our hospitality department as a guest lecturer for the Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism class on data-driven decision-making at Texas A&M University. Kristen’s insightful session explored the use of objective and subjective data to analyze and influence cost per occupied room (CPOR) through diverse revenue outlets and operational SOPs, including class participation in a real-life scenario aiming to maximize revenue while minimizing CPOR.

2024 Approved Third-Party Management Company Our OG Hospitality department has made the 2024 list as an Approved Third-Party Management Company with Marriott and will continue to be presented with thirdparty management opportunities through Marriott International. This is earned through diligent efforts to maintain brand standards and premium management services.

Our New Braunfels and Stockyards Fort Worth Sales Teams attended the Southwest Showcase in Austin in January, providing them with the opportunity to receive professional development as well as connect with suppliers and other professionals in the meeting and event planning field.
