Welcome, we are delighted that you are considering one of the magnificent venues that we have to offer for your special day at The King’s School, Canterbury. At the UK’s oldest school, we have a long history of providing hospitality to our guests and have opened our doors to visitors for centuries.

Our celebrations are held in beautiful rooms throughout our venues such as The Refectory, housed within Henry VIII’s Palace and adjoining the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey, the stunning Barn set in eighty acres at Junior King’s School on the banks of the River Stour and The Malthouse, an outstanding conversion of a magnificent Victorian building. Our grounds are as beautiful as our buildings, perfect for drinks receptions and marquees.

Ă€ La Carte Our superb professional chefs are on hand to design a menu to suit your needs, from hot and cold finger or fork buffets to Ă la carte menus. Our talented chefs prepare our food onsite using locally sourced produce wherever possible and we are able to meet the dietary requirements of your guests.

Raise a glass Choose from a selection of seasonal drinks to accompany an array of delicious homemade CanapĂŠs, fine wines to compliment your wedding breakfast and sparkling wines or champagne to toast your special day. Our drinks packages are tailored to you and with a complimentary tasting before your day you will be confident with your selection.

Save the date We are able to reserve your chosen date for up to two weeks whilst you contact your church or registry office. After this time, if you wish to proceed a deposit will be required to secure your day here at The King’s School.
