The magazine was distributed Nationally through Chapters and Indigo Stores from 2000. The magazine was stopped in 2008 and restarted in 2013 and distribution continued through Chapters and Indigo Books until 2016. From 2016 to present, the magazine is distributed directly from the publisher.

When you hear people say, where are the mentors? I say that they are everywhere. You’ll read about a couple of them in this issue of Below the Belt Boxing Magazine. In life you always get what you look for but even if you didn’t see mentors around you, you can always create the mentor you want, in yourself. What would you admire in someone? What would they know, what would they say, what would they be able to do? Why not be your own inspiration and have a goal to build towards and therefore when you get there, you would be proud of that individual. Learning to master yourself in all areas is a lifelong pursuit that develops a lot of pride along the way. Why not be your own hero? BTB
