THE PLATEAU

FEBRUARY | 2026

A Letter from Kevin Cohrs

I’m excited as we begin what is shaping up to be a fantastic 2026 at The Plateau Club. With a strong start to our events calendar and many new members joining the club, the energy and engagement around the club continues to grow.

Our team has spent considerable time building this year’s calendar and expanding on last season’s successes. Thank you for the thoughtful feedback in our member survey—we’re already putting your input into action as we work to continually improve the club experience.

It’s been great to see so much activity at the club this past month, with events like the sushi class with Albert, indoor putt-putt, Family Bingo, and Friday Night Live bringing members together. We’re encouraged to see many new faces getting involved.

If you know someone who would enjoy the club, this is a great time to introduce them. We currently have membership promotions and referral incentives available, and I’m always happy to connect with prospective members.

I also want to take a moment to recognize and thank Anthony for his hard work and dedication to the club. He has made a meaningful impact over the past two seasons and will truly be missed! We are currently conducting a search for both a new Food & Beverage Manager to fill his role and a Head Golf Professional, with a strong focus on finding the right fit for our membership and culture.

Next month brings Super Bowl festivities, a Valentine’s Day Dinner, Friday Night Live, Kids Paint by Numbers, and Whiskey Tasting Night and two upcoming golf events. We hope to see you out at the club enjoying it all!

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you around the club soon.

With gratitude,

Words From The Shop

We’re off to a great start to the year here at the Plateau Club! The course has dried out nicely, and we’ve been fortunate to see the sun pop through for several beautiful days, making for some excellent winter golf.

As a friendly reminder, frost delays may still occur during the colder mornings. Our main priority is protecting the golf course now so it’s in the best possible shape for the warm months ahead. We truly appreciate your patience, and will continue to email out updates as we monitor these days.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Pro Shop event of the season, the Rain or Shine Scramble. We had 30 teams participate, and fortunately, the weather cooperated with a bright and sunny day. Congratulations to our winning team of Matt LeClair and his guest, Michael Carroll. It was a fantastic way to kick off the event calendar, and we appreciate the great turnout.

Our next event is right around the corner, on Saturday, February 7th , the Kickoff Classic – 2 Person, 4-Club Edition. This fun and challenging format is always a favorite and we hope to see you there.

On another exciting note, Albert and I are thrilled to announce this year’s PGA Jr. League season. After meeting with opposing coaches, we’ve put together a fun and competitive schedule that we know your junior golfers will love. This year, our team will be competing against four other clubs, giving our juniors the chance to travel and experience new courses.

Don’t miss out—sign-ups are now open! Click here to register using the password PLATEAU2026. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We look forward to seeing you at the club soon.

Keeper of the Greens

Greetings everyone!

Well here we are into 2026 and off to a pretty good start. After what was an extremely wet December, we were able to enjoy 2 straight weeks with a break from the rain. Sure there was some cold weather and a decent number of frost delays, but once we opened the sun sure felt good and got us all excited for the true golfing season to start.

The biggest news to report is the completion of the project in renovating the bunker on hole #6. First the bunker sand was shoveled out and brought down for storage. Next the grass along the sides and bottom were removed and the soil was worked around to lessen the severity of the slope facing the green. Steps were installed, and bunker liner was placed in the base. Once that was completed it was ready for the bunker sand to be put back and opened up and ready for play. While the overall size of the bunker was increased, the overall distance in order to carry it remained unaffected. The result is a bunker with liner to decrease the amount of contaminants entering the sand, a less severe slope on the face, and a fresh, visually appealing look, with the rock wall forming the bottom edge of the bunker. It was a lot of work for the crew but it really turned out well and I hope you all enjoy it.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you all out here.
