t was 2003 when Paolo Ghedini, owner of 2G & P, decided to install the first DuPont Cyrel Fast line for the production of flexo plates with thermal technology. “That date marks the beginning of a partnership with DuPont that led to concrete developments, not only for us but also for our supplier. We were among the first to believe in thermal technology proposed by DuPont and decided to invest in advanced engraving technologies and color control, with equipment and software that would allow us to provide our customers with the
best quality levels, interacting with them, combining technologies and experience to get together more and better results”, Ghedini said during our meeting. The facts show that the choice was happy, now in the company are operating two DuPont systems with DuPont thermal development and since a year there is also a solvent system. Therefore, the future is bright for 2G&P: in view there are further investment and expansion of the covered areas of the company. “My job is to commit myself to complete work optimally, and to be able to provide quickly quality plates, providing a direct support to the printer; we often go in person to the companies that use our plates, so that they can work better. We are a serious and young company, and we try to establish with suppliers the same relationship that we create with our customers”, concludes Ghedini.
