OKC details list for recycling The December holiday season marks a time for parties, poinsettias and presents under the tree. Instead of tossing it all in an Oklahoma City’s Big Blue trash cart, try recycling instead. Here’s a list from the City of Oklahoma City that shows what’s naughty and what’s nice for our recycling stream. Naughty: These items are not accepted in the city’s recycling program. Instead, toss them in your Big Blue trash cart, or compost them, if appropriate.

Hammerstein's Carousel (July 5-10) and Kinky Boots (July 19-24). Season add-ons include cult-classic The Rocky Horror Show (Oct.5-30) and Lyric's 12th annual production of A Christmas Carol (Nov. 16 -Dec. 23).

•Wrapping paper, crepe paper and gift bags; Christmas lights, tinsel, ribbons, and bows. These “tanglers” get caught in equipment and delay production. Toss them in your Big Blue, or re-use ribbons and bows another year. •Plastic bags and wrap, including bubble wrap, cling wrap and shipping packaging. •Paper plates, cups, and napkins. •Plastic cutlery. •Shipping peanuts and protective foam.

"I'm very thankful to all of our state leaders, loyal patrons and everyone at Lyric for making this past year's outdoor season a safe and joyous success,” said See LYRIC, Page 5

My name is Coco and I am a 4month-old Black Lab. My human mom is Ali Young and my big human sister is Anna Young. I love to chase squirrels, play with my 5-month-old dog sister Zoey and give lots of kisses to everyone. I can’t wait to attend doggie daycare so I can meet lots more friends.
