The Okanagan School of Business (OSB) has four distinct departments: Business Administration; Commercial Aviation; Food, Wine, and Tourism; and Office Administration. We also offer programs and courses at our four major campuses in Kelowna, Vernon, Salmon Arm and Penticton, providing close-to-home access to the business education you’re seeking. Many of our courses are also available online.

Where Our Grads Work Do you enjoy managing money? The Finance specialty has two distinct paths. One path or set of courses gives you the academic requirements needed to write the qualifying exams for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) license. The second path or set of courses allows you to work in a variety of corporate and government organizations. The Tourism and Hospitality Management specialty provides you with an understanding of business and management practices within the global tourism and hospitality sector as well as a foundation in general business. Business Administration Diploma The Business Administration Diploma provides you with a comprehensive understanding of business practices. This two-year program can fast-track your career while providing you with the opportunity to link directly to the four-year BBA. You can choose to graduate with a general diploma or tailor your studies to one of our six options:

by Transport Canada with business administration courses applicable to the aviation industry. The diverse terrain and weather in the Okanagan Valley provides a challenging and unrivalled training environment. As a program graduate, you will be well-prepared for a career as a pilot for charter companies, private corporations and regional carriers, which leads to employment with major airlines or other advanced aviation career opportunities.

Culinary Management Diploma The Culinary Management Diploma reflects the growth in renowned wineries and excellent restaurants in the Okanagan. OBSA

Human Resources Management Club (HRM Club) The HRM Club is affiliated with the Human Resources Management Association (HRMA) and aims to connect students with real life HR experiences and professionals through fun and hands-on learning experiences. The club is open to Human Resources Management specialty students or anyone interested in learning more about human resources.

Club members can gain practical knowledge in the HR field through workshops, Lunch & Learn Sessions, competitions, job shadowing and networking activities. Club membership is free and members are encouraged to join the HRMA at a reduced student rate.
