From Our Pastor
2025 was a year of Giant Slaying! You slayed so many giants, and it is time to celebrate. Allow me to briefly mention a few of the giants that were defeated.
The OKAG moved into a new office complex at 12360 Market Drive in Oklahoma City. The 19-acre, 5-building complex that had served as the OKAG home for decades represented a giant of inefficiency. Maintaining acreage and buildings that were never used was very expensive. God allowed us to sell the property at the end of 2023, and Hobby Lobby graciously allowed us to use their office complex for a year. At the beginning of 2025, we moved into the new office complex for the exact same price (to the dollar) we sold the previous complex for. PRAISE THE LORD!
Our 2025 Better Together Conference at The Assembly in Broken Arrow was marked with extended altar times and a divine mandate to Slay the Giant. We rejoice for the anointed messages of Jeff Leake, Tim Enloe, Gary Davidson, Matt Nelson, Adam Starling, Jason Byers, Chad Randleman, and Herbert Cooper. Thanks to Pastor Ron, Kelly Woods, and the Team at The Assembly for such ridiculous hospitality. It was at this conference that I first publicly revealed the divine mandate to “Slay the Giant” of Camp Cargill debt. On paper, this made absolutely no sense. The $4.6 million debt was large enough to make serious leaders change
the subject. Like a herd of Buffalo, you did not run away from the storm; YOU IMMEDIATELY ran into it. We went to work on a plan to Slay the Giant. PRAISE THE LORD!
In 2025, you helped Slay the Giant of reaching the least, last, and lost by planting five churches. We rejoice over the leadership of Matt and Heather Cook, Sarah Taylor, Jordan and Elizabeth Ward, Cody and Lindsay Phillips, and Chris and Amy Hale. These church planters are bringing the hope of Jesus to the hopeless and we rejoice. We must be a movement that multiplies. PRAISE THE LORD!
Camp Cargill continues to be a place where giants are slayed. Our 2025 campers experienced 336 first-time salvations, 1353 rededications, 710 Spirit Baptisms, 692 healings, and 448 were called to a ministry or mission call. Praise the Lord. God is raising up giant slayers. We are grateful for the 1143 volunteers and the 67 ministry interns that make Camp Cargill run well. PRAISE THE LORD!
The 2025 PK Retreat in September was inspiring. It is always a joy to see our pastors’ kids seek the Lord together and develop new friendships. Perhaps I have never been so intimidated as when I quoted the book of Hebrews at this event. I would have been much less nervous quoting in front of their parents! After each of the 13 chapters, the PKs cheered me on. One of our leaders said it seemed like a 13-round boxing match, with the crowd involved. Thank you for sponsoring
each verse! When it was over, one of our precious middle schoolers came up to us and quoted Psalm 137. PRAISE THE LORD!
Our Renew Network Retreat was held at The Chateau in Branson in October. Our keynote speakers were Assistant General Superintendent Rick DuBose, Pastor Travis Jones, and AGWM Director John Easter. God stirred our hearts to be focused on the Great Commission and to slay the giant of bringing the Word to those who have never received it. I will never forget the altar response. PRAISE THE LORD!
In 2025, we attempted to Slay the Giant of churches with financial challenges. The OKAG launched INSIGHT Church Finance, and we now offer bookkeeping services for your church! INSIGHT also offers limited church loans and connects with our AGOK Foundation for ministry endowments. PRAISE THE LORD!
I was determined that Slaying the Giant of Camp Cargill in 2025 would not affect our passion for the Great Commission. Our network has always been a missionary movement. I am thrilled to announce that our Mission giving was up 11% from 2024 to $15,341,952. Jesus said, where our heart is, that is where our treasure is also. I am so grateful the heart of the OKAG is with the least, the last, and the lost. Our global worker team now consists of 272 global missionaries, US Missionaries, and Teen Challenge leaders. We must share Jesus with those who have never heard. In our own Oklahoma churches, we saw 7,137 individuals profess their faith in water baptism. PRAISE THE LORD!
On December 24, 2025, we had enough funds to officially Slay the Giant of debt, and the note at Kirkpatrick Bank was eliminated. For the first time in many years, OKAG is debt-free, and we plan to stay that way! We want our resources to better bless ministers and churches. YOU SLAYED THE GIANT. PRAISE THE LORD!
In 1 Samuel 17:51, David cut off the head of Goliath with Goliath’s own sword. I love this verse because it ends with, “When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran.” Victory is never meant to be the finish line. Victory is fuel for the next step of faith. The same God who helped David face a lion, then a bear, and then a giant was preparing him for the unseen battles ahead. The same is true for us. Together, we slayed some big giants in 2025. But giants still loom in our communities, our churches, and in Oklahoma. Let’s keep our swords sharp, our prayers up, and together let’s take some “Leaps of Faith” in 2026. Let’s slay some more giants!
I am truly thankful for each of you. May we continue to live Holy lives, and may the OKAG be the greatest evangelism force that Oklahoma has ever known.
We truly love you and know that we are BETTER TOGETHER,
Dr. Darryl & Faith Wootton

Challenge Workers
In a chaotic and unpredictable world, we are thankful for those who have committed their lives to reach the least, last, and lost both near and far.
A recent conversation with one of our families reminded me why our mission matters. Despite risks, they eagerly returned overseas, explaining that as long as the door is open, they must go. Others echoed a shepherd’s duty
to stay with his flock in danger. These convictions show the unwavering commitment of those called to mission work.
This resolve echoes the Apostle Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 16:9: “There is a wide-open door for a great work, although many oppose me.” This truth remains today. While past doors may have closed, current opportunities are a call to action. As a result, every missional Christian must go or send. I am grateful our network continues to spread the good news in a world that needs it.

A Record Breaking Year for Light for the Lost
The Oklahoma Assemblies of God Network made history in 2025: Light for the Lost giving reached $1.4 million, placing Oklahoma at #1 among all AG networks nationwide.
2025 was a banner year for LFTL in Oklahoma in every way. Fall dinner attendance climbed significantly, with new host churches opening their doors and new steak teams stepping up to serve. More churches participated, and the energy and enthusiasm at these gatherings reflected the momentum building throughout the network.
The momentum was fueled by OKAG Sectional Presbyters, who personally contacted pastors, leading to greater participation. Special thanks go to the
OKAG Men’s Team—Darryl Lee, Mark Purkey, Lyn Gaskey, and Dakota Marsh— whose dedication kept everything running smoothly.
Where the Funds Are Going
These record contributions are making a difference locally and globally. In 2025 Oklahoma’s LFTL giving helped provide FireBibles to unreached people groups, offering Scripture to those who have never had it before. It also supplied Bibles to pastors in Ukraine, supporting their ministries as they serve congregations amid challenging circumstances. Teen Challenge programs received essential training materials, equipping staff and participants to pursue lasting life change. Discipleship resources and Bibles were distributed to inmates, fostering spiritual growth and hope within correctional facilities. Oklahoma missionaries received evangelistic tools, empowering them to share their message more effectively in their local and overseas assignments. Funds also enabled the translation of
discipleship materials, making faithbuilding content accessible in new languages to diverse communities.
From the streets of Oklahoma to nations where the gospel has never been heard, Light for the Lost is carrying the message of Jesus—and Oklahoma is leading the way. Lives are being changed, leaders are being equipped, and eternity is being shaped because of the generosity of this network.
What is Light for the Lost?
Light for the Lost (LFTL) is an initiative associated with world and U.S. Missions, specifically focusing on evangelism and spreading the gospel message to unreached and under served populations worldwide and here at home. LFTL provides resources, such as Bibles, literature, and media tools and technology.

OKAG Compassion & Minister Development
The
Oklahoma
Assemblies
of God Network continues to celebrate a year marked by spiritual momentum, compassionate outreach, and significant investment in leaders across our state.
The Compassion and Minister Development Department has been at the center of this movement— championing ministerial growth, empowering churches, and extending the love of Christ to vulnerable communities.
Transforming Lives Through the OKAG Foster Care Network
One of the most impactful expressions of compassion this year has been the ongoing work of the OKAG Foster Care Network. This initiative continues to rally churches and families to care for Oklahoma’s children in crisis. Through awareness events, church partnerships, and wrap around support strategies, Oklahoma congregations are stepping into the foster care mission in remarkable ways—living out the mandate to defend the cause of the vulnerable and provide hope where it is most needed.
Celebrating New Ministers and Advancing Leaders
Minister development remains at the heart of our Network’s purpose, and this year marks a powerful milestone: 105 individuals either became new ministers or advanced in their ministerial credentials, including 38 who were ordained.
New People Party
This past year, we launched the New People Party, an initiative designed to help welcome new ministers into the OKAG Network with intentionality.
Impact Beyond Borders:
New York Missions Trip
The department also helped lead a life-changing mission trip to New York, where ministers and volunteers served Metro World Child in Brooklyn, NY, and lived out the gospel in one of the most dynamic urban environments in the country. Participants returned inspired, spiritually renewed, and equipped with a fresh vision for local ministry.
Strengthening Rural Communities Through Strategic Partnership
A highlight of the year came through an extraordinary partnership between the Lilly Foundation and Evangel University, resulting in the Oklahoma AG Network receiving $119,000 to strengthen ministry in rural communities across the state. These funds will help empower rural pastors,
$40,000 Donated to Project Rescue through the 2025 Rescue Day
resource local churches, and revitalize communities that often face unique pastoral and economic challenges.
As we look ahead, we celebrate the faithfulness of our churches, the dedication of our leaders, and the unstoppable power of the gospel at work in Oklahoma.

Tethered to Hope
Joleta Nash, an Assemblies of God U.S. Missions Associate and chaplain to widows, serves as part of a ministry called Tethered to Hope, whose mission is: “Joining together to securely tether every widow to Hope found in Jesus.”
Joleta considers it a deep privilege to minister to widows, embracing the calling God birthed in her through personal pain and loss. Her compassion and dedication culminated in October with the planning and execution of the first-ever one-day event, A Day of Hope. What was once a dream is becoming a beautiful reality as 145 women registered for the gathering. The event created a sacred space for widows from across Oklahoma to be refreshed, encouraged, and filled with renewed hope in the Lord. Through Joleta’s leadership, countless women were reminded that they are seen, loved, and securely tethered to the hope found only in Jesus.

Called to Ministry at NextGen Camps
It has been a joy and a privilege to witness all that God has done through OKAG Next Gen ministries in 2025.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the powerful testimonies from camp and the faithful generosity that continues to support our missionaries through BGMC and Speed the Light. Time and again, we have seen the Lord move in the lives of young people across our state, drawing them closer to Himself and calling them into His purposes.
This year, we also want to take a moment to honor a leader whose quiet faithfulness has made a lasting impact. Travis McCrate has worked tirelessly to help relaunch and strengthen boys’ ministries throughout Oklahoma. With a deep conviction about the importance of discipling boys at an early age, Travis has faithfully traveled across our state, investing in churches
and leaders, encouraging them, and equipping them with the vision and tools needed to raise up the next generation of Godly men.
Because of his dedication and servant’s heart, more than 75 churches launched boys’ ministry programs in 2025. Yet the true significance of this work lies not in numbers alone, but in the lives of young boys who are now being discipled, mentored, and guided to know Christ and walk in His ways.
We are deeply thankful for leaders like Travis who faithfully answer God’s call and pour themselves into the next generation. The Oklahoma Assemblies of God is grateful for his ministry, and we believe the seeds being planted today will bear fruit in the lives of young men for many years to come.

We want to support local churches in the God-given assignment of reaching children by allowing them to utilize various camps, retreats, conferences, and connections with other children’s ministers. OKAG Kids desires to inspire leaders to embrace the calling to disciple this generation, to lead families to a faithful commitment to God, and to lead with love and loyalty as we strive for excellence.
Girls Ministries:
Oklahoma Girls Ministries provides a meaningful opportunity for relational discipleship, guiding girls in their faith journey. We equip leaders with training and resources while offering gender-specific small groups (clubs) and impactful events for girls from preschool through 12th grade. Oklahoma Girls Ministries is committed to raising strong girls for Jesus through fun, discipleship, and mentorship – so they grow into women who thrive, not just survive.

2025 BGMC Giving
BGMC:
Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) engages, teaches, and disciples our youngest generation in God’s mission to reach the lost! This is accomplished by creating a heart of compassion in kids for the world’s and our missionaries’ needs. Kids are challenged to pray for our missionaries, sacrificially give to missions, and reach the lost in their own area. Funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world with a special emphasis on Kids Helping Kids. Additional project focuses include curriculum translation and development, kids’ outreaches, humanitarian aid, medical care, child welfare missions (foster care and orphanages), water initiatives, feeding programs, and anything else a missionary may need to spread the love of Jesus.

OKAG Communications
The OKAG Communications Department supports local churches and shares the vision and values of the OKAG Network.
We use creative content, clear communication, and digital tools to help leaders, strengthen ministries, and share the Gospel throughout our state. We also help with internal communication and offer media and digital training.
This year, we produced more than 20 live events, including eleven NextGen camps during the summer. Altogether, over
16,000 people attended OKAG events. In 2025, our social media channels saw a significant increase in video views, with people watching a total of 46 days worth of content from our team. Our quarterly OUTLOOK magazine finished its 78th year, and we now print an average of 1,527 copies each quarter.
Every year, we look for new ways to improve how we communicate and produce content so we can reach our audience better. As the needs of our ministers and congregations change, we are ready to meet new challenges and find better ways to connect in the future.
