Pastor From Our

Welcome to the Oklahoma Assemblies of God Ministry Network!

We are so glad you have taken a moment to learn more about who we are. Whether you’re a pastor, ministry leader, church member, or someone curious about our movement, welcome home!

Here in Oklahoma, the Assemblies of God Ministry Network is a family of over 450 churches and 1,500 ministers working together to better share the love of Jesus with the least, the last, and the lost. Together, we believe the Church is the hope of the world, and God has called us to bring hope and healing to every community.

Our Mission:

Networking together to better share the love of Jesus with the least, last, and lost.

Our Vision: A Healthy Church in Every Community.

Our Core Values:

1. LOVE — God Together (renewal)

2. LIVE — Healthy Lives Together (relationships)

3. LEAD — Healthy Churches Together (resources)

4. LAUNCH — Healthy Ministries Together (release)

We are also rooted in four timeless truths about Jesus — our Core Doctrines:

1. JESUS Saves

2. JESUS Heals

3. JESUS Empowers

4. JESUS Returns

Did you know that the Assemblies of God has over 450,000 churches worldwide and more than 86 million adherents? And the good news is still spreading — every 81 minutes, a new Assemblies of God church is planted somewhere around the globe, and every 54 seconds, someone decides to follow Jesus in one of our churches!

So, if you’re looking for a family of ministers and a network of pastors passionate about sharing the love of Jesus and believing for a great awakening, we need YOU! Whether you’re dreaming about planting a church, leading a congregation, or serving in ministry — you belong here. Let’s team up and share the love of Jesus with the least, last, and lost.

Mission OKAG

Wilma and I are grateful for the opportunity to provide pastoral care and oversight for our 160 global workers serving at home and abroad. We count it an incredible privilege to represent those who have left their families and comforts of home to venture forth in response to a sovereign call that God has placed upon their lives. Many find themselves in places bereft of the gospel message, which gives them ample opportunity to share but is also fraught with peril and resistance. PLEASE PRAY!

Our network supports colleagues who share the gospel in over 50 nations. THE SUN NEVER SETS ON OUR OKAG FAMILY, taking the message of our risen Christ to a lost world. Workers from our OKAG network are church planting in Europe, raising tabernacles in Africa, distributing Fire Bibles in war-torn Ukraine, and assisting refugees in Israel and central Europe. In closed countries, the gospel is shared over steaming mugs of tea; in English language classes, the Holy Spirit gives revelation. Our workers spend countless hours at a computer translating the scriptures into languages where the Bible has never existed. Every day, new Bible courses are being written within the context of local culture, enabling millions to interact with God’s Word. Imagine the effect on future generations yet unborn who can study the Word because of our willingness to invest at this critical moment in our history.

We are thankful that in 2024, 13 workers completed itineration and are now ministering in the Middle East, the universities of Europe, in Spain, and church planting in England and Africa. In our own state, Afghan refugees are being ministered to daily. Two new couples have been approved this year as missionary candidates: Nathan and Emily Blackmore, with their two children, are currently itinerating with Liverpool, England, as their goal. Also, with their six sons, Aaron and Ashley Withington continue an Oklahoma legacy of over eighty years in Japan. What an amazing opportunity we have to invest in taking the gospel to the nations of the world!

Compassion OKAG

OKAG Compassion is intentional about assisting, resourcing, and supporting ministers and churches in Oklahoma. We demonstrate compassion for the orphan and widow (James 1:27), the poor (2 Thes. 3:7-10), the prisoner (Matt. 25:36-40), and the hungry (Matt. 25:35).

Over the past two years, OKAG Compassion has been working together to meet the needs of foster families and vulnerable children in Oklahoma. 111 Project is one of the organizations the OKAG has partnered with to serve families and children in crisis. 111 Project facilitates a resource called Care Portal, which connects churches to meet the growing needs to support and stabilize families in crisis. In 2023, OKAG churches met 598 care portal requests, served 1,322 children, and made an economic impact of $705,677! Today, more than 84 churches are participating in Care Portal.

Compact Family Services partners with us and is a foster care licensing agency in Oklahoma. They have recently approved the first foster family from one of our Assemblies of God churches. This home is available and ready to receive placement of children in need. We are excited to see God continue to move in the hearts of families in our Assemblies of God churches to serve as foster homes.

Compassion & Minister Development Team

Seek and Save

In 2023 and 2024, OKAG Compassion partnered with the Assemblies of God U.S. Mission’s Office to host Seek and Save events in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. At these events, we saw how the OKAG Network is better together!

We served more than 20,000 people

More than 1,200 volunteers from across Oklahoma served.

Over 12,000 bags of groceries were packed and distributed.

There were 8 church renovation projects

14 missing youths found

And finally, 1,488 salvations!

We are excited to announce that the OKAG Network will continue this initiative as Seek and Save Oklahoma, going into communities in Oklahoma experiencing significant poverty to lend support and resources within the community.

Kids OKAG

OKAG Kids exists to help churches embrace the mission of raising and discipling the next generation. We want to support local churches in the God-given assignment of reaching children by allowing them to utilize various camps, retreats, conferences, and connections with other children’s ministers. OKAG Kids desires to inspire leaders to embrace the calling to disciple this generation, to lead families to a faithful commitment to God, and to lead with love and loyalty as we strive for excellence.

Girls Ministries:

Oklahoma Girls Ministries provides a meaningful opportunity for relational discipleship, guiding girls in their faith journey. We equip leaders with training and resources while offering gender-specific small groups (clubs) and impactful events for girls from preschool through 12th grade. Oklahoma Girls Ministries is committed to raising strong girls for Jesus through fun, discipleship, and mentorship – so they grow into women who thrive, not just survive.

Boys Ministries:

Oklahoma Boys ministry is vital to reaching and keeping the Next Generation for Christ. Boys today must know they are good enough and can accomplish great things. Boys need a strong bond and a community of brothers and Godly men to show them the way to God.

KidMin Roadmap:

Boys and Girls Ministries utilizes KidMin Roadmap as another avenue for reaching children. KidMin Roadmap is passionate about kids’ discipleship and empowering leaders to make disciples who make disciples.

JBQ:

The mission of JBQ is to inspire and equip children to grow in their knowledge of Scripture, foster a deeper relationship with God, and develop strong character through Bible memorization, understanding, and application. We aim to create a fun and engaging environment that encourages teamwork, spiritual growth, and a lifelong passion for God’s Word, empowering the next generation to live out their faith with confidence and integrity.

BGMC:

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) engages, teaches, and disciples our youngest generation in God’s mission to reach the lost! This is accomplished by creating a heart of compassion in kids for the world’s and our missionaries’ needs. Kids are challenged to pray for our missionaries, sacrificially give to missions, and reach the lost in their own area. Funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world with a special emphasis on Kids Helping Kids. Additional project focuses include curriculum translation and development, kids’ outreaches, humanitarian aid, medical care, child welfare missions (foster care and orphanages), water initiatives, feeding programs, and anything else a missionary may need to spread the love of Jesus.
