Description of my proposed start-up
My proposed startup is a Nigerian restaurant and catering company that specialises in catering for weddings, birthday parties, private dinners, meetings, and any event that requires catering services.
A single paragraph that describes a fictional history of my company/client
The company was started up in 2015 and is owned by a mother of three. She has always had a passion for cooking and event planning and although she only catered to friends and family as a way to contribute to their event, she soon discovered that this was something she would love to explore as a business. After running her catering business for three years, she decided to put a hold on it to be more available for her children. And now after five years her catering business will be resurfacing and opening up a restaurant for the first time.

Uyo represents the joy of homecooked style dining and catering for events.
For my secret ingredient, I put together the brand name using bamboo-type wood and popsicle sticks to illustrate the brand's earthy aesthetic and as a reference to how several Nigerian dishes are prepared (using firewood).
