CAMP CONGER

In June, Firelands Electric’s Andrea Gravenhorst, Bob Stokes, James Miller, Tracy Gibb, and summer intern Reed Warnement spent two mornings at Huron County’s 4-H Camp Conger. The group helped a dozen campers make heavy-duty extension cords and an additional 37 campers complete small table lamp projects.

For more than 30 years, the cooperative and the camp have partnered to give students an opportunity to build electricity projects. Firelands has also provided the electric power at the camp for more than 50 years.
