Livin' Local

It's definitely not a mystery that I love to solve puzzles, engage in mysteries and figure out riddles. So booking a day at Adventurescape was one of the easiest decisions. If you haven't tried one, our escape rooms are some of the BEST in Oklahoma and I highly encourage it!

Building Community, Brick by Brick: Our Journey to Creating a Chickasha Haven

When life pushed us in an unexpected direction, we chose to build something new, something rooted in creativity, resilience, and the belief that community can transform everything. After being laid off following a corporate acquisition, we suddenly found ourselves at a crossroads. But instead of stepping back, we stepped forward.

We already had the beginnings of a dream without even realizing it: more than 100,000 LEGO pieces collected over the years and a massive library of role playing materials. Turning that passion into a business felt natural, almost inevitable. The real question was where this next chapter should begin.

Finding Home in Chickasha

We explored surrounding towns and cities, weighing every possibility, but Chickasha stood out immediately. It didn’t just feel like a location, it felt like a calling. Something about the people, the energy, and the potential of this town told us this was where we were meant to plant our roots.

From the moment we signed our lease with a landlord, we still say is one of the best anyone could ask for, we knew we were in the right place.

A Store Built on Friendship and Support

Since opening our doors, Chickasha has given us more than customers; it has given us friendships we treasure. People here have shown up for us in ways we never expected offering help, encouragement, and support without ever being asked. That kind of generosity is rare, and it’s become the heartbeat of our business.

We’ve also connected with fellow business owners who share our vision of strengthening and uplifting our community. Together, we’re working to make Chickasha even more vibrant and welcoming for families, newcomers, and anyone searching for a place that feels like home. Our Mission of Fun, Safety, and Family

Connection

At the core of everything we do is a simple mission: to create a safe, family friendly environment where imagination, play, and connection thrive.

Whether a child is discovering their first Pokémon deck, a family is gathering around a new board game, a Magic: The Gathering player is gearing up for their next match, or a young builder is diving into a fresh LEGO creation, we want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcome.

We’ve built a space where collectors hunt for retired treasures, newcomers learn the ropes, and long-time hobbyists share their passion with the next generation. Our commitment extends beyond the store too, we partner with local nonprofits, support community events, and help customers track down hard to find items. To us, games, bricks, and stories aren’t just products; they’re tools for creativity, connection, and belonging.

A New Beginning That Became a Community Cornerstone

What started as a career setback has grown into a thriving local destination, one built on passion, friendship, and the unwavering support of Chickasha. This town didn’t just become our business location; it became our home, our inspiration, and the heart of a story we’re still writing every day.

Brick by brick, card by card, game by game we’re building something meaningful here. And we’re honored to do it alongside the community that believed in us from the very beginning.

Supporting the spirit of Chickasha.

Josh Woods is a familiar face around Chickasha, from the dining room at Interurban to his work with local organizations like CASA and co-founding the food truck championship. An Army Reserves veteran and local entrepreneur, Josh joined the Arvest Bank board in 2019 with a simple mission: to help fellow business owners and families succeed. He knows what it takes to build something from the ground up, and he’s proud to help Arvest provide the tools our community needs to grow.
