November December 2025

SO WILL I!

As I write this, the sun is still shining and the air is warm, but I can’t wait for that crisp November and December chill. My favorite things are just around the corner: cozy sweatshirts, delicious food, Christmas cheer…and did I mention sweatshirts? I love a good sweatshirt!

Downtown Chickasha makes it easy to get into the holiday spirit. Our charming streets are filled with everything you need to make the season magical from sweet treats at Red Dirt Catering, to festive decor at Ross Seed Co., to one-ofa-kind gifts at Okie Mountain Trading Co.

Head uptown and you’ll find even more to love. Savor a meal at La Fiesta, catch live music at Legends, or challenge your friends to a game night at The Block Shop. After all, the heart of the holidays is about making memories, sharing time with loved ones and giving thanks.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the season without the Festival of Light! Opening in November, it continues to shine brightly as a celebration of the Light of the World. Enjoy the Christmas Parade, take a spin on the ice rink, snuggle up for a carriage ride and take in Santa’s-eye view of the park from Chickasha Wings.

Our town is a whole vibe this time of year. So grab your family, bring a friend or two, and come experience everything Chickasha has to offer...so will I.

Well of course I went to the 2025 Rock Island Arts Festival! The evening was PERFECT! The weather was nice, there were so many people, activities and great food. I look forward to this event every year and even got to bring some friends who had never been, but will definitely come back.

CHICKASHA

Charm

with Tammie Warren, Tammie's Bling Boutique

What's your favorite place in town?

My favorite place is our downtown because it’s full of charm and community. I love the shopping, the cozy places to eat, and all the small business-owned shops. There’s such a sense of support and connection there that makes it feel special. Everyone is always willing to help and support each other.

What makes this place your favorite spot in town?

It has something for everyone. Need an outfit? The many boutiques have every style to offer you. Need a gift? The shops have you covered. Lunch or dinner with friends? Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Looking for family fun? Take the kids the escape room. Adults night out?

Stop by Olde Towne Billiards & Beer or unwind at the Flower Shop winery. Of course downtown is home of our famous Leg Lamp. Downtown truly has it all.

What was your first impression when you visited?

Night time downtown is pure magic. Every single light post beautifully decorated, and the lighting makes the whole street glow. The welcome you receive in every shop and restaurant feels like coming home to family.

What unique features or qualities does this place have that made it stand out to you?

They have taken that old-town charm and brought it back to life. The train depot is such a special highlightespecially with our famous Leg Lamp on display. It’s a perfect mix of history, character and community pride.

What would you recommend others try or do when they visit?

DESIGNS THAT SPEAK LOUDER

Dragoon Graphics

Brings Custom

Creations to Life

If you’ve ever seen a standout shirt at a local event, a crisp embroidered logo on a business hat or a custom banner downtown that makes you stop and look — there’s a good chance it came from Dragoon Graphics.

The locally owned and operated print shop has become a creative cornerstone in Chickasha, providing high-quality, custom designs for businesses, schools and community organizations.

Their work can be spotted all over town from Chickasha Fire and Roosters to USAO and Line-X proudly showcasing local spirit in every stitch and print.

The company’s name, Dragoon, carries a bit of history and grit. The term refers to a mounted soldier who fought as a light cavalryman on attack and dismounted as infantry on defense, a perfect reflection of the team’s adaptability and drive.

Owned by Chickasha’s own mayor, Dragoon Graphics is more than just a business, it’s a local investment.

They pride themselves on being a reliable, community-first operation where every customer, from a oneshirt order to a full-scale corporate partnership, gets treated with the same level of attention and respect.

“We want to provide the service we’d want someone to give us,” says the team. “That means efficient, friendly service and exactly what you ordered every time.”

With a full suite of specialized equipment, including embroidery, laser etching and custom printing, Dragoon Graphics can bring nearly any idea to life. Their capabilities span tees, hats, mugs, banners, signage and much more. And while their turnaround is fast, they never cut corners on quality. “Even if we mess up, we fix it,” the team adds with pride.

Beyond their technical skill, Dragoon Graphics’ real impact is found in their commitment to community growth and partnership. They offer local business discounts, work closely with non-profits, and continue to find new ways to uplift Chickasha’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit.

Whether you’re branding your business, gearing up your team or creating something one-of-a-kind, Dragoon Graphics has the tools, heart and hometown touch to make it happen.

To start your next project, visit dragoongfx.com or email karol@dragoongfx.com to bring your vision to life.
