General Information PARKING We have three beach parking lots, all accessing the same wonderful long beach! Main Beach, Footbridge Beach and North Beach all charge a daily flat fee and by the hour. There are several additional lots around town that charge by the hour. There is free short-term parking on the street.

2025 Calendar of Events JUNE 13-14 BonAire showcases Ogunquit’s unique history and today’s culture with live music all day on an oceanside stage and activities throughout the community celebrating local crafts, local food and local heritage.

OCT. 24-26 Our annual autumn festival features a classic car show, huge artisan craft fair, children’s activities, Halloween-themed events, the Dogtoberfest costume parade, and the unique High Heel Dash.

JUNE 6-8 Ogunquit Pride kicks off with a flag raising in Veteran’s Park, followed by a community picnic in Grant Common. Activities throughout the weekend salute the legacy of the LGBTQ+ community in Ogunquit.

JULY 4 An impressive July 4th fireworks display is shot from the Main Beach Parking Lot. Music and dancing occur before the fireworks.

DEC. 12-14 Christmas by the Sea welcomes the holiday season. This event features tree lightings, concerts, craft shows, children’s activities, a parade, bonfire, fireworks, and, of course, Santa.

Getting to Ogunquit, getting around Ogunquit Ogunquit is an easy reach from I-95, just 7 miles up Route 1 from Exit 7. And although most of our guests arrive by car, you can get to Ogunquit from Boston or Boston Logan Airport via the Amtrak Downeaster train to the Wells Transportation Center, and then link to Ogunquit via local taxi or car hire. Check out our Transportation listings on Page 22-23.

If you’re headed to the beach, here’s an important thing to know: we have one beach, with three different parking areas. The Main Beach parking lot is very popular, due to its proximity to our bathhouse and carry-out food venues. For guests with mobility issues, there

are beach wheelchairs available; contact Ocean Rescue at the town offices to reserve.

The Footbridge Beach and North Beach parking lots are farther north along the beach, and offer more affordable parking rates, but fewer amenities. Lower Lot is another beach parking lot option and is a short walk from the Main Beach parking lot. For information, visit ogunquit.org/parking.
