The creator of aluminium wallets ÖGON
Aluminium wallets, a concept born in Sweden. The creator of the brand, Thomas, lived many years in Sweden. It is there while living in Stockholm that he first got the idea of a hard case wallet inspired by cigarette cases.
It was instantly a worldwide success on the leather goods market.

Eco-friendly production
Since the beginning, ÖGON has always been an eco-friendly company, concerned about its environmental impact and has always been ethical.
We have banned polluting materials and our productions are green with no waste disposal into nature.
Our constant concern for quality allows us to produce durable objects, that can be kept for many years.
RFID protection
ÖGON was the first to offer wallets with RFID protection.
The aluminium protects cards from breaking and demagnetization but it also creates the perfect Faraday cage.
The protection against data theft and contactless payment fraud immediately became part of our DNA and all our products are guaranteed «RFID Safe».
Made in France
It is in Evreux, in our workshop and warehouse that we create and assemble our wallets since 20 years.

Finishing Anodized aluminium
Aluminium is a material with multiple virtues, it is durable, stainless and incredibly light.
We have developed a specific alloy that gives our wallets exceptional quality.
This secret recipe is made of recycled aluminium, to reduce the environmental impact, and also guarantees a very low lead concentration, in accordance with European standards.
To obtain the deep and vivid colors, we use a specific process which allows the color pigments to be integrated into the mass by electrolysis.
Fun fact :
Aluminium complies with food standards. It is naturally anti-bacterial and very easy to clean.
Finishing Matt Paint
We have reworked the appearance of the aluminium shells by using «powder paint», which combines a deep matte finish with a sanded texture that is pleasant to the touch.
« This process consists of applying a powder, then baking it in the oven which creates a color that is more resistant to shocks and scratches than standard paint.
This ecological process is solvent-free and without disposal into nature. »
Collaboration TM
Keith Haring (1958-90) was one of the most renowned of the young artists, filmmakers, and performers whose work responded to urban street culture of the 1980s. Inspired by the graffiti artists whose marks covered the city’s subway cars, Haring began to draw in white chalk over the black paper used to cover vacant advertising panels.

Paiheme is an artistic director, illustrator and graphic designer from Caen, Normandy (France).
His work reinterprets the codes of vintage and Japanese advertising of the 1960s in a contemporary way.
He also sometimes adds a bit of pop culture such as mangas or animes to his creations.
