Welcome Baby Eagles! You've made it! Highschool is an exciting journey that will of course include highs and lows. We are beyond stoked to meet you and help you along your learning endeavors throughout the school year!
We were excited to see so many freshman come to orientation .
We saw many excited students ready to start the the new school year. We encourage you guys to make new friends amongst yourselves and start the 2023-2024 school year very very strong. With that being said, don't forget to SOAR
29, Students got up before the break of dawn to spend time with each other, catch up before the new school year, and watch the sunrise. Donuts, apple juice, and orange juice were there for the seniors to enjoy. There were photo opportunities, music, and many chances to enjoy themselves. Seniors will have many more events like this to look forward to throughout the year. The class of 2024 is excited to start and experience their very last year on campus. From going to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, in what now feels like yesterday, seniors are feeling the nervousness and excitement of being the “top dawgs” on campus. Seniors have so much to look forward to such as applying for college (insert groans), and just growing up!! “ It was really neat to see a huge amount of seniors come out to celebrate the start of the school year with h h !” Khristian said, on the topic of the Sunrise. Now that the class of seniors, it’s inevitable that they will make it the best year they ssibly can.
Club Day is going to happen on Friday, August 18th! During this event, clubs will feature a tri-fold at the hill, featuring flyers and decorations made by past or present club members! In these stands, elected club members will showcase a display board featuring their club's purpose and upcoming events! At these stands, students will have the opportunity to join these clubs, either as a member or as potential board candidates!
Social clubs such as Key Club, Interact, and ARK are mighty popular with students due to their opportunities to district-wide meetups! While cultural clubs such as BSU, VSU, and FSU will feature spectacular performances and classes featuring their culture, especially with VSU's upcoming school-wide culture show.
Also, the Eagle's Eye will feature a stand during this club rush! As a journalism club, we are in charge of the school's newspaper. We make illustrations, articles, and announcements about exciting upcoming school events. If you are interested in joining our club, we are looking for recruits, especially to fill in our spots for our club board. So please let us know on our Instagram

Led by co-captains, Mailan Vuong and Jay Nguyen, Oak Grove Girl's Tennis had a successful year winning a total of __ matches. Starting this term, Coach Mari is planning to host a scrimmage with YBHS and will host their first official game on Thursday, September 14 against Ann Sobrato. Make sure to wish them luck! Additionally, the seniors are looking forward to their senior night on Thursday, October 19 where we will be bidding farewell to 5 senior eagles this year. Our games are every Tuesday and Thursday at 4 pm, so make sure to come & support at the tennis courts in the student parking lot!

Hii Eagles, Staff, and Oak Grove Community! We have reached the end of summer and are glad to welcome our Eagles back to school. We would like to give an even warmer welcome to our newest Eagles to the nest, Class of 2027!! The Eagle Eye Committee is excited to continue releasing issues every month to give you guys school updates and recaps of exciting events.
