Mackenzie spent months sculpting the figure in his studio, experimenting with different compositions until he was finally happy.
Mackenzie wanted Vincent to have a fragility and vulnerability just like the artist himself.

Mackenzie opted for a classic green patina for Vincent and the stem, choosing to polish the heart, giving it a natural, beautiful, bronze glow.
Mackenzie has packed the sunflower head with hearts putting as much love into the flower as possible.
