What is Direct Admission? Many people understand Direct Admission differently or do not understand what actually it means.

Direct admission means taking direct admission in any course or a college.

As you know, there is a complete process for admission in any course or college. Meaning you have to write entrance exam, you have to attend counseling, and according to your score you get admission in that course or college.

It is here that the concept of direct admission comes in handy that if you have written the entrance exam of a university or college, and have not done well in it, you can still take direct admission.

There are many colleges and courses where even if you have not written the entrance exam, you can still get admission.

If you take direct admission in a college, then in any one of the management quota, NRI quota or normal quota, the college can give admission according to its convenience and seat availability.

It is important to keep clear here that, you cannot expect direct admission in all colleges or all courses, but the number of colleges giving direct admission is very large.

For engineering too, if you leave some top government colleges and some private colleges, then you can get direct admission in all other colleges.
