business, and liberal arts, Belmont’s BFA degree programs will equip graduates with the ability to solve problems, think critically, and succeed as innovators in their chosen fields. Already known as a leader in the music and healthcare industries, Nashville is a hub for technology and a home for aspiring creatives and entrepreneurs. With the growth of Nashville drawing fashion companies from New York and Los Angeles, our students have unrivaled access to connections with established fashion businesses in the city, which has become one of the most exciting markets for internships and successful careers. Fashion Design and Merchandising students enjoy the benefits of Belmont’s rich educational heritage of liberal arts, sciences and business to prepare them for growing career opportunities, including coursework in data science or by pursuing a minor in one of the University’s nationally-recognized programs in marketing, entrepreneurship, or international business. Belmont’s core values of integrity, inquiry, collaboration, service and humility are emphasized in collaborative student projects with non-profit institutions from GiGi’s Playhouse, a Down syndrome achievement center, to Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee. Successful students and graduates focus on designing for and positively impacting the lives of others.
