ARCHITECTURE O’MORE COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN

AN ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM LIKE NONE OTHER Architecture is a dynamic field that responds to constant demographic, climate and social change. A truly modern education equips students to think critically, solve problems in diverse groups and communicate clearly through preparation that draws from new circumstances and technological innovation as well as the enduring principles and traditions of building culture. As an architecture student at Belmont, you will enjoy the benefits of the University’s rich educational heritage in the liberal arts and sciences. For example, your lessons in environmental science and philosophy will be intentionally integrated with architecture studio and history classes. Additionally, the curriculum includes an unusually high number of electives which will allow you to explore personal interests, from business and entrepreneurship to art and history. During regular academic and career advising, faculty will find out how you define success and help you achieve it. Building on Belmont’s Christian heritage, we strive to nurture an environment in which students fulfill their personal gifts and talents through challenging academics in a culture of support, collaboration and creativity. We make the most of access to the resources and employment potential of one of the country’s most vibrant cities, home to over sixty architecture firms and a flourishing design community. Belmont’s architecture program will equip you with the professional and interpersonal skills necessary to achieve a voice of distinction and position of influence as you identify and pursue your purpose in life. Let us help you find your professional path toward imagining, designing and realizing a better, more beautiful and more just world.
