Scholarships & Financial Aid ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS Your application for admission serves as your application for merit scholarships. Complete your application file by Dec. 1 for consideration for the University’s most competitive and highest meritbased scholarships.

General freshman academic merit scholarships do not require the Dec. 1 deadline and are considered on a rolling basis. These scholarships range from $3,000 to $10,000 annually, and scholarship notifications are made via U.S. Mail.

FINANCIAL AID The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine eligibility for institution and federal need-based financial aid opportunities, as well as for state aid for Tennessee residents.
