This bookazine presents five perspectives on the city while also highlighting the references, working methods and architectural choices of OZ.
It is a response to the increasing dominance of economic motives in the built environment. Architecture is increasingly becoming a marketing tool and images – especially digital media – are only used to seduce. With this bookazine we want to place our designs in an architectural discourse: we are making an attempt to interpret the development of architecture again from the perspective of spatial experience.
OZ operates in the city from a down-to-earth attitude. Not politico-economic but culturally driven we search for a social relevance that embraces the complexity of life and enriches the environment.
