The impact of TikTok on the everyday lives of today’s youth takes center stage in “Independent Lens” with “TikTok, Boom,” airing Monday, October 21st at 10 p.m. This documentary delves into the profound effects of this social media phenomenon from the lens of Generation Z. Our youth take the spotlight again with the inspiring 4-part series “Citizen Nation,” starting Tuesday, October 8th at 8 p.m. Witness the passion and commitment of these high school students engaging in civic activism through a national mock congressional hearing.
I love the Masterpiece programs and watch as many as I can. I watch ones I have never seen on Passport. I thoroughly enjoy the programming especially Finding Your Roots, Antiques Roadshow, Doc Martin, All Creatures Great and Small, and Call the Midwife. Thank you!

This October, OETA presents the captivating new series NOVA: Solar System, a five-part exploration of our cosmic neighborhood.
In episode one, Storm Worlds, viewers will be amazed by the extreme weather conditions across the solar system, from planet-wide dust storms to lightning far more intense than what we see on Earth.
Episode two, Strange Worlds, delves into the unique gravitational effects that shape bizarre celestial bodies, including a deflated dwarf planet and towering cliffs on a tiny moon.
Episode three, Volcano Worlds, reveals the dramatic volcanic activity across distant planets and moons, shedding light on the explosive processes that shape these worlds.
In episode four, Icy Worlds, the series explores the peculiarities of ice in space, from Uranus’s superionic ice to Pluto’s nitrogen glaciers.

OETA Hosts Nature Cat at the Oklahoma City Zoo: A Roaring Success
OETA’s special event with Nature Cat at the Oklahoma City Zoo on September 7th was a huge success, drawing 2,155 attendees. Held in the newly remodeled Love’s Pachyderm building in Expedition Africa, families enjoyed meeting the beloved PBS Kids character and participated in a range of exciting activities.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this wonderful celebration of nature and exploration.
