The Taurus has three watertight chambers meaning it is very robust and reliable in critical applications.

Used alone or in multiples, minimum and maximum levels/high and low alarm outputs can be maintained and adjusted easily.

The probes are available in a wide variety of materials and process connections and are of construction appropriate to operation in extreme conditions such as those found on industrial plants.

SMART LEVEL SENSOR SGE-25 The SGE-25 hydrostatic level probe measures liquid levels in tanks, deep wells or boreholes.

Its specialised design means it can measure water levels in very narrow conditions.

• 1 – 4 stainless steel electrodes • Electrode lengths 100 –1500mm • Brass, stainless steel, PPL body materials • Working pressure up to 6bar • Working temperature up to 100°C

Its operation is based on a simple relationship between the height of the liquid column and the resulting hydrostatic pressure. Applications include pumping stations, fermentation chambers, settling tanks, borehole levels and ponds.

When the probe is lowered to the reference level it can either hang freely or lie on the bottom. If there is a possibility of turbulence in the tank (for example mixer operation or a turbulent inflow) then the probe should be installed inside a screening tube (e.g. made of PVC).

Cleaning the probe diaphragm by mechanical means is strictly prohibited.

The FOX level switch is one of the most popular styles of level switch and is used throughout industry.

This level regulator is extremely cost effective and can be used in many ways for automated control of liquid levels in various applications.

The Shell counterweight for pendant float switches is a unique, universal and time saving design that can be connected and placed onto the cable without the need to disconnect and feed the counterweight down the cable.

PROTRAN SUBMERSIBLE DEPTH/LEVEL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER PR3441/PR3442 ESI’s submersible depth and level transmitters have been designed for the accurate measurement of depth and level of liquids.

Electrical connection is provided via a screened cable protected by a tough nylon, pressure tight sheath which allows for trouble-free venting to the surface.

PR3441 is suitable for boreholes 25mm in diameter whilst PR3442 is a slim line 16mm diameter.

Standard applications include reservoir and borehole level monitoring, water mains pressure metering, power level and outlet pressure on submersible pumps.

An optional ATEX and IECEx certified version of the PR3441 is available approved for explosion protection for flammable gases (zone 0), dusts (zone 20) and mining areas (group I MI).
