This year OEM Automatic is celebrating the 25th anniversary of our business starting in the UK The UK subsidiary was the first venture outside of the OEM Groups home Scandinavian market and from a small beginning in Nuneaton back in 1989 we have grown to occupy a purpose built office and 1000sqm warehouse in Whetstone just south of Leicester.

While we celebrate 25 years our parent company in Sweden passes the 40 year milestone and our basic business idea has stayed the same throughout our development.

To become a competent and effective partner to our customers we have divided our product range into specialised business areas. In this way we combine the advantage of being specialised in small areas with the benefits of being part of a large organisation.

Competent sales and product staff Because of our specialised business areas all of our sales staff are experts in their particular field. This enables them to really understand the products and applications and assist customers on site with selecting the right product. A program of training with our suppliers runs throughout the year so they are always updated with the latest innovations and product knowledge.

Our product specialists and product managers have the deepest knowledge of the products and are responsible for product range development and day to day contact with our suppliers. They also provide technical support for sales and customer support staff.

Efficient logistics Our warehouse in Whetstone aims to despatch all orders the same day if received before 16.30. Our warehouse personnel are responsible for despatching more than 25,000 orders per year and we are proud of our ability to get products to our customers safely and on time. We currently hold more than 8000 articles in stock so our customers can get standard products delivered the next day.

Go direct – No CT’s The N 27D is the latest generation DIN rail mount digital meter that offers a cost effective solution for the measurement of four single phase network parameters in one compact unit.

This meter has a direct connection of up to 63A removing the need to fit any additional current transformers. With a modular design and being only 3 modules wide it can easily form part of a distribution and MCB fuse panel.

The unit is easy to read with its 4 digit LED display and has a single button on the front panel to scroll through the measured values, RMS voltage, RMS current, Active power and Frequency.

Compact and low-maintenance The new SR060E generation of slip rings has been developed especially for the packaging industry. Their smooth and straight surfaces allow easy cleaning and therefore meet the requirements of the food processing industry.

Thanks to innovative contact materials, a particularly long life is ensured with up to 500 million revelations. The new material also does not require any form of oiling unlike other slip rings on the market.

High power stud terminals Conta Clip has now extended their range of stud terminals to include 35mm & 70mm connections.

These compact studs are available with M6, M8, M10, M12 & M16 studs that are rated at 1000V. The conductors are held securely with the aid of a safety/spring washer fixed to the nut to making for a maintenance free installation and no lost washers.
