Irish-American Beef Stew

Directions

1. In A Large Stock Pot Brown The Stew Meat, Add The Garlic and The Bouillon Cube and Enough Water to Cover Plus 3 Inches. Bring to a Boil Then Turn Heat Down and Simmer 30 Minutes.

Ingredients:

2-3 lbs of Stew Meat or Chuck Roast Cut into 1'' Cubes. 1 Beef Bouillon Cube or 2 Cups Beef Stock 4 Cloves Garlic, Coarsely Chopped 8-10 Carrots Cut 1'' thick 1/2 Head of Cabbage, Cut into 1 inch squares 2 Yellow Onions, Cut in to 4ths ( Quartered) 6-7 Medium Red Potatoes, Cut into 1'' cubes. 4-5 Stalks of Celery, Cut 1'' Thick (3) 14.5 oz. Cans of Stewed Tomatoes (2) 15 oz. Cans of Tomato Sauce 2 Table Spoons of Chilli Powder (Williams) 1/2 Tsp Salt And Ground Black Pepper

3. Skim Off Foam From Top of Beef with Ladle Next add Carrots and Cook on Medium Heat for 30 Min. 4. Add Cabbage and Cook 30 Min. 5. Add All Remaining Ingredients Cover and Cook 30 Min. 6. Remove Cover Check for Taste, Turn to Low Heat and Cook Until Potatoes are Done. Serve With Garlic Bread.

Love & Food GARLIC FRIED CHICKEN Ingredients

1 (3 to 4 pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces 3 teaspoons garlic salt and pepper 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice Peanut or vegetable oil, for frying 2 cups all-purpose flour 3 teaspoons of thyme 1 stick of butter (salted) 4 cloves garlic, grated or minced Directions 1. Rub the chicken with 1 tsp of garlic salt, pepper, and 4 tablespoons lemon juice. Let the chicken season at room temperature for 1 hour. 2. Fill a large deep pot with enough oil to cover the pieces of chicken (about 3 1/2 inches). Heat the oil to 350 degrees F over medium-high heat (at this temperature a drop of flour will sizzle immediately when it hits the oil).

3. Season the flour with garlic salt thyme and pepper. 4. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour. Working in batches if necessary. Place the chicken into the hot oil, taking care not to over crowd the pan. (If all the chicken will not fit at one time, cook the larger pieces first.) 5. Fry the chicken at about 350 degrees (adding the chicken causes the temperature to drop) until the pieces are crisp and golden on 1 side, about 10 minutes. Turn the pieces of chicken and cook until the second-sides are crisp and the juices clear, about 7 minutes more. Then place on a rack on top of a cookie sheet. 6. Melt the butter with the minced garlic and drizzle over the chicken, place in a 250ยบ oven for 20 Minutes. Check for doneness and serve with mashed potatoes & corn on the cob.

Stir in raisins and nuts. Pour mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. 6. Bake at 350º, for 40 minutes or until center springs back when lightly pressed with fingertips. 7. Let Cool on wire rack, serve warm or refrigerate

Stuffing:

1. Preheat Oven to 350ºF degrees 2. Mix together the Mushroom Soup and Beef Broth In a baking dish large enough to hold the 4 chops, stirring to combine. (1 min in Microwave helps). 3. Mix together all of the stuffing ingredients in seperate bowl (mixture should be moist), if not ad little water. 4. Cut a pocket in the Pork chops or butterfly open, then season the chops on both sides with the Thyme & Salt & Pepper. 5.Brown chops on both sides in a 10” skillet with the bacon grease or butter. (2-3 Min per side, Medium Heat). 6. Stuff each Chop with 3-4 heaping tablespoons of stuffing and place in baking dish on top of Mushroom mixture. 7. Cover and Bake for 30 minutes at 350ºF, then remove cover and bake another 15 to 20 minutes, until sauce is thick. Serve with Mashed Potato’s and Green Beans. Note: If you have extra stuffing but in a covered baking dish and bake with chops.

Clay Walker is collaborating with longtime hit-maker Tracy Byrd for one night at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Feb. 1. Tickets start at $49 and go on sale Nov. 16. Country superstar Blake Shelton kicked this year off by “Doing It To Country Songs,” and he will jump into 2018 with his fellow Country Music Freaks on his just announced headlining tour. Shelton will hit the road alongside Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and very special guest Trace Adkins on Thursday, February, 15 at BOK Center. Full list of dates below.
