Glazed Ham with Dijon-Pineapple Sauce

Directions PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix sugar, syrup and mustard until well blended; set aside. Score ham with sharp knife; insert cloves into ham as desired. Arrange cherries, cut-sides down, on surface of ham. Place ham on rack in shallow baking pan.

Ingredients 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 1/2 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup 1/4 cup GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard 1 whole fully cooked boneless ham (5 lb.) Whole cloves 12 maraschino cherries, halved 1 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

BAKE 2 hours or until ham reaches internal temperature of 140°F when tested in center with meat thermometer, brushing occasionally with 1/2 cup of the syrup mixture after 1-1/2 hours. MIX remaining syrup mixture with cornstarch and pineapple with its liquid in saucepan; cook on medium-high heat until mixture comes to boil and thickens, stirring constantly. Serve with the sliced ham.

I created this recipe in 1993 for the love one in my life, Peggy. PS: She Said Yes !!

Serving for 4 people HEAVY Whipping Cream - 1 pint Pasta - Fettucini (serving for 4) Shrimp - 2 pounds medium size 2 Lemons (unpeeled raw) Garlic - 5 cloves chopped medium Spinach 1 bunch Lemon pepper - to taste special Mushrooms - 1 pint - sliced Sherry Wine - One shot Leaks - 1 Leak 3 Tbs Butter Use the white part only - chopped 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese (grated) finely Note: Finely chop & save 1/4 cup of pine nuts green part of leak for garnish Bring enough salted water to boil to cover shrimp with juice from 1/2 lemon - put shrimp in water, turn off heat. Let stand for 1–1/2 minutes . Remove cool and peel shrimp - Place peels back in water & boil to reduce to 1 cup of stock. Strain & reserve stock. - Sauté leaks, mushrooms, garlic with 2 Tbs of butter add juice of 1 lemon, shrimp stock and a shot of sherry wine, saute for 10 minutes, add 2/3 of pint of heavy whipping cream, lemon pepper to taste Reduce heat to low, add spinach leaves, cover. Cook Pasta six minutes only, add to sauce with 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese - Sauté pine nuts with 1 tbs of butter in separate pan - Put shrimp in sauce after adding pasta, uncover, heat on medium low till hot & thick - then serve on plate garnish with pine nuts, lemon slices & finely chopped green part of leaks. Suggested served with : melody vegetables, Ceasar salad & Garlic bread.

This is one sure fire way to Impress your love one, and get him or her to pop the big Question, it is the best recipe that I know and it works every time.

Clay Walker is collaborating with longtime hit-maker Tracy Byrd for one night at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Feb. 1. Tickets start at $49 and go on sale Nov. 16. Rosemary Chicken with Yogurt Caper Sauce Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 Large container of plain yogurt. 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 Pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast. Salt and pepper to taste 1/3 tsp of crushed rosemary 1 tbs of olive oil 1 tbs Capers

Directions: 1. Combine yogurt and garlic powder 2. Sprinkle chicken with salt pepper and rosemary and place in a resealable plastic bag with 1/2 the yogurt mixture turn to coat. Marinate in the refrigerated for 30 minutes. 3. Heat olive oil in 12 inch skillet over medium heat, add chicken mixture and cook 8 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. 4. Meanwhile add the capers to the remaining yogurt mixture. To serve: Place chicken on plate, drizzle with yogurt sauce, serve with steamed broccoli.
